Outstanding Service at Texas Roadhouse - Amirah Made Our Day!
I've been a loyal customer at this Texas Roadhouse location for years, but today's experience was truly something special, all thanks to our incredible waitress, Amirah.
From the moment we sat down, Amirah's warm personality and genuine care for her customers shone through. She was absolutely the sweetest and most endearing server I've ever encountered - not just at Texas Roadhouse, but anywhere. Her positive energy and friendly demeanor immediately made us feel welcome and valued as guests.
What really impressed me was her attention to detail and thoughtfulness. Despite having visited this restaurant countless times over the years, Amirah was the very first server to offer us peanuts and drinks to go. It might seem like a small gesture, but it speaks volumes about her dedication to providing exceptional customer service and going above and beyond for her guests.
Amirah is the true definition of the company's slogan - you can tell she genuinely loves her job and takes pride in going above and beyond for every single customer. Her passion for hospitality is infectious and makes the entire dining experience so much better.
Amirah's service was flawless throughout our entire meal. She was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her genuine smile and caring attitude transformed what could have been just another dinner out into a truly memorable dining experience.
Texas Roadhouse is lucky to have someone like Amirah on their team. She represents the very best of what hospitality should be - warm, professional, and genuinely caring about her customers' experience. She was absolutely the best server I've ever had, and I will make sure to go back only when she's working.
If you're dining at this location, you're in for a treat if Amirah is your server. She's truly amazing at what she does!
Highly recommend this location, especially if you have the pleasure of being...
Read moreMy family and I have been to this location multiple times but had one of the worst experience's so far. We called ahead because we had extended family in town and needed a table for 8 people. We were told 20-25 minutes wait so we headed over. We get to the restuarant and the host couldn't find our name and said we can put you on the list- as if it didn't matter that we called ahead. Luckily it wasn't that long. However, when we were seated, we were seated at 2 separate tables next to each other. We wanted to sit together as a family and slid the tables together. We were promptly repremanded by one of the female hosts that we could not do that. We weren't offered another option so we were told she needed to talk to the manager who then allowed us to leave the tables the way we set them. The booth also was not cleaned correctly and was mention to the staff and not address. Our server was attentive for the size party that we had but it was hard to talk to them and other party member when in the restuarant with the louder than needed music. For a smaller table with the amount of people we had, the staff could have been more attentive in removing used dishes. Appetizer plates and salad bowls were still on the tight table while our meals were coming out. We ordered our food and didn't wait a huge amount of time to receive it. Multiple people in my party ordered sweet potatoes which are normally very soft and sweet. These potatoes were not sweet and undercooked and one of my party member requested a new potatoe, which was given to them promptly- cooked better but no huge taste difference. The steaks ordered were cooked well. The other food that was ordered was dry and tasteless. We left very disatified and questioning whether or not we should return to this location. With all the issues we experienced, we didn't see or hear from a manager. This location need some improvement as it has been better...
Read moreToday, I visited Texas Roadhouse in North Plainfield, New Jersey, and I need to express my concerns about a young lady named Alexa, who was working at the bar. Unfortunately, the customer service was disappointing, to say the least. Alexa's demeanor came across as standoffish and curt, completely lacking the hospitality one would expect. She didn’t even begin with a simple greeting or ask if I would like a glass of water.
When I placed a dine-in order, she barely checked back to see if I needed anything else. I had to actively get her attention to place a second order for takeout. Upon my request to speak with a supervisor, he was apologetic and offered me the opportunity to address the matter with a manager. However, this attempt proved unproductive. While the manager mentioned he would speak with Alexa, it was clear he was overwhelmed and struggling to handle the situation effectively.
It’s disheartening to note how often such incidents occur, particularly among younger employees, whose behavior can sometimes come across as rude or disrespectful. What’s even harder to ignore is the undeniable impact that the color of your skin can have on these interactions. This highlights the urgent need to prioritize customer service workshops and seminars. Such initiatives could help educate employees on how to engage with customers more effectively and handle the diverse challenges of today’s world.
Being a paying customer doesn’t entitle anyone to mistreat employees, but it does mean we should be treated with courtesy, respect, and dignity. I can only hope that Alexa does not treat her coworkers the same way she treated customers during my visit. As I see it, "If your job leads you to become judgmental to the point of being disrespectful to others, perhaps it’s time to reconsider your role in the customer...
