My boyfriend and I decided since we wouldn’t have our daughter for the first time in 4 months to go out and treat ourselves. We wanted to try something new in town to change things up. We walked in the restaurant before 5:00pm they were not that busy. The lady at the front was very confused and didn’t really seem to know what was going on. She sat us at a dirty table. When our waitress came over she noticed and cleaned the table for us. She was super sweet and very considerate. We ordered the spinach and artichoke appetizer. It was better than any other spinach artichoke dip in town, which isn’t that hard considering most places don’t have good food. We then ordered our dinner maybe 20 minutes after we got there. My boyfriend ordered a ribeye and I got the chicken broccoli pasta. We both chose the side salad instead of a soup. Our food was given to a different table so by the time we ended up getting our food we had already been there for almost an hour and a half. My boyfriend took a few bites of his steak and said it was not good. Which I agreed it had an off taste, like the meat was old and that there was no seasoning. The manager seen he was not eating and asked if there was anything he could do to fix it. My boyfriend said no because we were already there for a good amount of time. My pasta was decent and i enjoyed it. We also got a slice of a peanut butter cheesecake. It was good just very sweet which isn’t a bad thing. Our waitress gave us a free lava cake to try to fix the situation which was very sweet of her. As soon as we left about 2 hours after we originally arrived my boyfriend said he didn’t feel good. He definitely got food poisoning. He was throwing up, diarrhea, and a fever. He called the restaurant to let them know and they basically said we are sorry to hear that if you come in again let us know and we will give you a free meal. We will never go back considering this was our first time trying it and one of us ended up with...

Colleagues have spoken highly of this Midwest chain restaurant. 🍖 🥩 😋
As expected from an established chain, the service and food quality met brand standards. My server, Eric, provided exceptional service; he was attentive and proactive, ensuring I had everything I needed, even during the dinner rush.
Arriving shortly after 5:00 p.m., I was seated at the bar, which offers full service, despite reservations being recommended. While the menu features upscale options, it also includes surprisingly affordable dishes and weekly specials.
Although the seared ahi tuna special was tempting, I selected the shrimp 🍤 Oscar special.
The shrimp Oscar was served with a choice of soup du jour, Caesar salad, or a fresh garden salad; I selected the latter. It was a simple yet satisfying salad, featuring ample fresh ingredients and my preferred house-made blue cheese dressing.
The main course consisted of six large prawns stuffed with crabmeat, served atop a bed of wild rice and accompanied by tender, lightly grilled asparagus. The asparagus was expertly prepared, featuring small, delicate spears seasoned simply with salt and pepper. The prawns were cooked to perfection and exceptionally flavorful. The dish was well worth the cost. I concluded the meal with a perfectly executed crème brûlée, featuring a delightful crisp caramelized sugar topping.
The restaurant offered exceptional choices for both romantic dinners and celebratory meals, prompting a strong desire to return and sample their signature dishes. The diverse menu and attractive price range further enhanced the dining experience, making a return visit highly anticipated.

Read moreWe had a wonderful dinner at the Rib and Chop House.
We began dinner with their appetizer trio. Boudin Balls, fried green tomatoes, and spinach and artichoke dip. The spinach dip was ok, however, the boudin balls we excellent and the fried green tomatoes were some of the best I've ever had. Absolutely to die for!
For the main course, I ordered the surf and turf (steak and shrimp in garlic butter sauce). My steak was perfection, and the shrimp and sauce were excellent as well. My au gratin potatoes were beautiful and the perfect balance of hand-sliced/diced. Every bite was delicious. My husband had the Western burger and fries (his palate is a bit boring). He too enjoyed his meal.
Our server was amazing, I wish I'd caught her name. Lovely younger blonde gal. She was attentive without being an overpoweringly present. I did have a small interaction with a manager who was also excellent. When seated, I ordered an Italian Margarita (also delicious); however, the bartender had disappeared, and after 5-10 minutes, I saw a well-dressed woman looking through the restaurant. She seems not to find the bartender whom I gathered she was looking for. She quietly went behind the bar, made my drink, brought it to my table, and comped it for my wait. I'd never reminded anyone or asked a second time. She simply saw an issue and handled it. I was further impressed when the rogue bartender reappeared. The manager helped finish orders, then took him completely out of earshot of patrons, and I am sure had a conversation. However, I've seen many managers mishandle staff, and this manager was the complete opposite hopped in, helped, and handled her staff quietly and respectfully.
