Szechuan Famous Food And Sushi Bar — Restaurant in North Platte

Damn, very sad to leave this warning to patrons, and hopefully, the owner will get it together with staff to improve. But, after trying this place and getting over $100 of food and then your whole family is disgusted and upset, they gave the rest to the dogs!! That's not okay. The reviews and images looked so enticing. However, the whole experience was more than disappointing. Ordering online was such a headache. It's not cool when you and your whole family are hungry and excited about trying a new place (that we will now never return to). The "preferred" ordering method would not accept payment. So, I used the Doordash option, and it was missing menu items. We ordered tons of sushi and entrees. Worst rolls we've ever had 😩 old bad overcooked non-sushi rice, minimal fish, sloppily made, missing ingredient, generic wasabi, the fried rice was not fried or anything like fried rice, soups, chicken & vegetables had old oil flavor, and overall every item had NO flavor or BAD flavor. The only good thing was the packaging bc they added chopsticks and two napkins, and the workers were not rude at all.

To the owner/manager, Please please evaluate your restaurant because you are not doing well in providing...

Just go to tempura

The quality is just not there and Tempura has the same thing with more consistency and better service. While the waitress I had was really sweet and apologetic for this whole thing, the place got my order wrong, which isn’t a big deal if I didn’t have to sit with it for a good while. It took a pretty long time to get my actual order, and when I got the makis I ordered they were…not that great. I mean I know a lot of people order makis as a cheaper alternative to just getting straight up sushi because they’re usually cheaper and more filling but I’m not joking when I tell you these makis were super uneven and overall just skimpy, you know? Like the width of a crayola marker. When I got the check at my table, it was $12.90 (I double checked, it had sales taco added) but when I actually cashed out, my total had gone up to $13.29

I’m not sure what was up with that and I’m definitely not going to hiss over like $0.40 but it was just a little strange and I thought that was worth noting

Almost the same menu as Tempura. The server was very nice but the food was lacking as was the service. Our kids good came out almost immediately after we ordered but was cold. Waited over an hour for my food to come out. Waited another twenty minutes and my wife's good still wasn't there. I went up and asked where her food was and they brought it out, cold. We ended up not eating our food as it was cold and not very good to say the least. I told the server how disappointed we were when we were paying only to get a sorry, no offer of discounting the meal that we didn't eat or get in a timely manner let alone even close to at the same time so that we could eat together. Very disappointed and I won't be back again. I would recommend not eating here and going to Tempura if you want...
