Brothers Tavern — Restaurant in North Platte

We enjoyed our lunch & they had Cranberry Mules served in copper mugs on special that day that were AWSOME! We walked in with a party of 7, seating was not a problem even though they were fairly busy and our service was excellent! Great easy going crowd, lots of people greeting each other as they arrived or as they were leaving and they were staffed just right. Waitress was attentive & made sure we had everything we ordered promptly and our drinks were never dry! They have keno & pool tables that are tucked around the corner with plenty of room to play without disturbing others and I really like their beer garden cuz you're not locked inside a fenced in area, and propane heaters keep ya from freezing to death while ya enjoy your cancer stick!! Brothers Tavern is a pretty decent place (for a bar). I am not much of a drinker, but it is a pretty good place to go have an occasional beer or meet friends. It generally has a pretty laid back atmosphere but can get a little crazy depending on the crowd. Cody Keno is also located there. It is pretty clean and reasonably priced and offers good service. They don't advertise it a lot, but they do offer food service and have really good burgers and fries. That's all I ever have there, but have heard from others that the rest of the menu is "well done" also. If I could choose a zero I would. Went there to specifically get food, waited 15 min to even be acknowledged. Then waited over an hour with them trying to serve us the wrong food 3 different times. She then came out to gi b e us a discount and verify our order.. didnt have correct tickets in hand. Then being told they weren't going to charge us for our food because it wasn't even on the grill yet! Decided to leave instead as by this time it was 840pm. When we said we were leaving they charged us $3.50 for the tea we barely drank while waiting for food. We came here because it used to be good food, fun environment. Lost loyal...
