Sam's New York System — Restaurant in North Providence

Since it’s in the neighborhood we usually stop by for a quick bite. I never usually say anything because my husband and I work in the food industry. I get it some days aren’t always the best. Every time we come in when we get the elderly lady as our waitress I feel like she is rude and unpleasant. This time my husband came to have lunch when he was ordering the food she was very snappy saying annoyingly it comes with it. How are we supposed to know it comes with it we do not work there. Also it’s not stated on the menu board. You don’t have to be rude about it. After that encounter she gave him a stank look and threw a straw across the counter at him. What kind of service is that, just plain rude. This isn’t the first time we always try to give people the benefit of the doubt but this last time it really pushed me. Point is be better be nice...

Went there with my family sat down and waited 20 minutes and no one approached us to even ask for water! Horrible service! The man was constantly yelling at the employees and customers! That’s not customer service at all! Very unprofessional! I do not know why they are still in business! The wieners are over priced and the other items on the menu especially with the portions. This was my second attempt to come here and now I know why I haven’t done so! Never again! I have been to other places like these and they have very good prices and food portions. 0 Stars! The department of labor and training should inspect this business! I feel bad for the employees that have to put up with such terrible...

Three years and 150 hot weiners ago, I too would only eat wieners from the olneyville n.y. System, the one In actual olneyville In Providence or the one on reservoir ave Cranston and swore by them. Until I stopped into Sams ny system... Just back from a two week long fishing trip and itching for something other than what our cook was making on the fishing vessel, I decided to try it out being as it was on the route home. Plain and simple, these hot weiners are to die for, best in town, best around, Sams N.Y. System North...
