Carbrys BBQ & Soul Food — Restaurant in North Randall

The food is actually really good. I have ordered from here for my family quite a few times after discovering this place on UberEats. My family loves the ribs best but everything is pretty good. We've tried pretty much everything on the menu at this point, it changes a lot too btw....and I've even recommended this place to friends and family who have started ordering from here as well. My frustration comes from messed up orders and missing items. This is the fourth time I've ordered from here and have not received all my meals. It's really frustrating when you have a hungry child or family member whose whole order is missing. Today I ordered a buy one get one free chicken dinner and only got one dinner. I would have rather paid for two than to be told I'd get two for the price of one then have a family member go hungry. Once I ordered two different family bundle meals the chicken one and the ribs bundle, spent close to $70 for everything and only got one meal (not a family meal) with the wrong sides. I was at least reimbursed that time. This time I was informed by Uber Eats that this establishment no longer does refunds. Which is crazy when they are constantly getting it wrong. So my meal and soul roll are just to be forgotten, I guess....I really enjoy the food here and appreciate the prices being worth the quality of the food when they actually get it right. But at this point I'm extremely frustrated. My daughter was disappointed and hungry while everyone else had food, so of course I gave her mine and went hungry... AGAIN. This is the fourth time my order has been wrong and missing items. They've lost a customer in me unfortunately. Hopefully they will get more consistent with the accuracy of the orders...

I love their food, I love their customer service. Me and my family has been there numerous times and have tried many things on the menu (to the point where I'm sure they were wondering if I cook at home 😆) we did that to get a general idea of the place. Everything we tried was delicious..if you think their lunch and dinner is good...TRY THEIR BREAKFAST!! And they open early! We have dined in, we have ordered out, I've never gotten delivery. I would say customer service was good for me but I'm a people person so a bad day couldn't detere me, you'd have to be completely vile for that and they weren't. The atmosphere is amazing and I love that it's family owned because when we took our LOs in there with us and they are busy and they NEVER made us feel bad or never seemed bothered by it. I actually love this place but had to slow down because I was eating their food more than my own because it's convenient and delicious! After coming from the casino I stopped at Carbry's BBQ & Soul Food and when I went in it was nice in there. I was at the counter waiting for a while before someone came to take my order. Once someone finally came I ask a question about the menu and the young lady got smart and had a attitude for no reason. First, usually restaurants have smaller menus so you can look over to see what you want to order or even take with you so you can call your order in but there wasn't one and everyone doesn't have good sight to just look at there menu board on the wall. This was my first time coming there and it's a black own family business from what I can tell. The food was ok and it's pricey. The fountain drink I had tasted like water so they need to stay on top of that. Overall I would not comeback because of the bad customer service...
