Mr. Hero — Restaurant in North Randall

If you're going to eat at Mr. Hero's, pick a different location than this one! I received horrible customer service at this North Randall location. The current staff is rude, disrespectful, unprofressional, and racist towards African Americans. The female employee taking my order walked away from the register while I was placing my order. She went into the back cooking area, then came back out, and leaned against the counter with her arms folded. When I asked about her completing my order, she rolled her eyes at me and spoke to me in a language that wasn't English. A male employee nearby saw what she did and came and took my order. While waiting for my food to cook, a white male customer came into the restaurant to place his order, and the female employee who had been rude and unprofessional towards me suddenly became welcoming and pleasant to the man and eagerly took his order. After she took his order, she went back to leaning against the counter, looking at me, saying things in her language, and rolling her eyes at me. When I would ask her about what she was saying to me, she would smirk at me and roll her eyes. When one of the other employees handed her a bag of food, she looked at the receipt on the bag and just sat the bag on the counter without calling anyone to get their food. The male employee that took my order called out to me and handed me my food. I asked him could I speak to a manager, and he responded that he was the manager. I spoke with him about receiving horrible customer service from the rude female employee, and he just shrugged at my complaint as if to say "so what." So don't give your money to this restaurant. They don't know how to treat their customers, and they discriminate against African Americans, who also happen to be the majority of their customer base at this location (North...

I'm all for black owned businesses. But the young gentleman that was at the counter had the WORST customer service I've ever experienced. I walked in and he was on facetime. That's not the problem, there was no business at the time. The problem comes in when I had to wait until he completed a whole 3 minute conversation and only looking up once as "acknowledgement" that I'm there. He then proceeds to ask me what I need.
