ALDI — Local services in North Randall

The cashier was very impatient. I had put my groceries in flat boxes making g sore that the scan bars were very accessible to the cashiers scanning g device. Before I could explain to her the reason, ( I was in pain with a torn rotator cuff) she demanded I unload the two flat boxes so she could scan them her way and quickly shove them into the grocery cart beside her. When I left ,because she was not willing to help me I had to load and unload the cart twice. I said quietly that a small sign saying that putting them in a one layer box was not allowed and I again was met with resistance. I was allowed to do this at another ALDI'S store in Aurora, Ohio where the cashier was willing to listen and help.Customer service as well as common courtesy is lacking at the Warrensville/North...

I shopped peacefully and put everything neatly in paid for bags they’re not free. However upon me leaving I was rudely approached, by a store associate name Shawn. He grabbed my cart from me aggressively and told me he needed to see a receipt. As I searched for it in my 4 pocket coat, he began yelling across the store “ who checked her out”. I was so embarrassed it made me look like I was stealing & he broke my nail by snatching the cart. Luckily another store associate approached and let him know that I was checked out and paid. We love the prices, quality, and convenience. They have most of the basic groceries - produce, breads, dairy, meats, seafood, canned goods, beer & wine, and more - at lower prices than the other stores. They also have several sections of specialty items - housewares, toys, clothing, etc. - that change regularly. You never know what you might find. Bring a quarter to unlock the shopping cart (you'll get it back) and bring your own bags. The employees are friendly and helpful. It isn't a superstore, so there are a few items you won't find there - that's the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. But for the money, you're better off getting most of what's on your...
