Update: after posting the review below a couple of days ago, I got a call the next day asking about my experience and offering to make it better. That was impressive.

I set up a time on Friday and took the car back to give them another shot. They worked the trouble spots again and got everything off. It turns out that the drips probably were ‘t tree sap because, in at least one spot, the chemical had eaten into the clear coat/paint. The guy who worked it on Wednesday didn’t want to risk popping the paint, which is why some still remained.

After they were done, they re-waxed the entire car, got in touch with a local body shop to get me a lead on paint repair if I wanted to pursue it, and hooked me up with a great rate on a new clear bra for the hood.

That dedication to service - and taking the time to make it right - definitely moves them from “average” to exceptional. The remaining defects on my car cannot be fixed with detailing alone and the car looks great! I will use them again in the future with no reservations!

Nice guys but couldn’t even get 5 of drops of tree sap off the hood of my car, even though they wet-sanded it to do so (which is the reason I brought it in in the first place). They also knicked the clear bra with sloppy sanding. I think I could have done a better job myself…and now it looks like I will have to try. Not horrible but definitely not worth $270 vs getting a $50 detail at the...

Edit (1/2) (3/5 stars): Management reached out to apologize and to offer to fix the issue. While we won't be taking the car back in, the effort is appreciated and the stars have been updated to reflect that.

Made an appointment for interior detailing and ozone treatment, because the car had previously been owned by a smoker. They were confident that they could get the smoke out without the ozone, but I wanted to make sure the smell got out. They said they'd leave the ozone running overnight and then clean it in the morning. Picked it up next afternoon. They said they couldn't get the smell out, so they didn't charge for the ozone. Spring special was $140, but got charged $180. Car stank like cigarettes and green apple scent. Interior was sticky with air freshener and the floor mats in particular had been drenched. There was no scent of ozone, the car was still full of dog kibble and cigarette ash and had clearly not even received a cursory vacuuming. After making good progress cleaning the interior ourselves, it's clear that none of the agreed upon services were rendered, and instead they just sprayed the interior down with awful smelling air freshener. I have been getting my cars detailed for over 30- years from places all across the country. I have an older 2017 Lincoln MKZ Reserve that I neglected a little bit over the last two years. When I picked up my car the morning after I dropped it off, words can’t describe what I saw, a totally renewed, reconditioned car from the inside to the outside. EVERY normal scratch that my car absorbed over the last few years were COMPLETELY removed and the finish is once again a showroom glass high quality finish that makes my car look Brand NEW again. The interior is once again immaculate and spotless including the two front door leather panels I though were faded for the rest of my card’s life and they brought it back to life and both doors look brand new again!!! I strongly recommend The Professional Vehicle Detailing company when you want a quality, top of the line vehicle detail, especially when you have a car that is special to you and you want detailing done at the highest quality level.
