Sporty's — Restaurant in North Redington Beach

Went there last night with my family. First night of our vacation so we wanted to have a few drinks and relax. The first time ordering drinks the bartender was ok, a little rude but not horrible. Second time up she was rude as heck. I handed her the change from our order as part of her tip. I said here is this and.... As I was reaching in my fiance's wallet to pull out more money to give her (because the change was only $1.50) she slides it back and says, "Here you can have it. That's not even 1% tip." So I said okay and walked back to my table, we drank our drinks and left. While we were finishing our drinks I see her walk over to some ladies she must know and is talking to them and then points at us. Here is the funniest part... I was reaching in his wallet for more to give her, I had my hand on a $20 bill when she said that. Our bill was 58.50 so that would have been an almost 40% tip. But now you got nothing from me except a bad review. My family are great tippers because we were raised by a waitress so we know how important...

On vacation and lady on the beach tells us this place is the place to be, so we go. We order a beer then we ask for change for pool table. The guy behind the bar totally ignores us then when asks why the lady bartender that give us the change tells us because your friend brought her cup in..I mean really how sad is this like we were buying beer and playing pooland my cup is going to create these problems. Uses to come here all the time a couple years ago, just loved it. Went the other night and the bartender says 'uh how many are there'? to a patron as 5 of us walk in. We felt instantly unwelcome, she wasn't very nice and charged my brother 12 dollars for a Bailey's and kahula. If you know and have been to sportys I imagine you would be just as shocked by a drink price like that. We didn't stay long and will never be back, it is very disappointing as it is super close to our condo and we have loved that place in the past. Big thumbs down, maybe it's new...
