Niko's Gyros To-Go North Ridgeville — Restaurant in North Ridgeville

This place is literally the best place in North Ridgeville. Finally a place that doesn’t have over priced food and anything you order is great. I love their mushroom Swiss burger - huge serving! French fries are the best. Hummus is great as well - I suggest trying this place out. Sure hope this place doesn’t go anywhere or change anything it’s great just the way it is. Also they have small deserts - try the Casada cake it’s really good. I’ll add photos next time I go again. Which it maybe today!! I’ve seen some people say food is over priced - these days everything is expensive - I’d rather pay this place and know I’m getting a huge portion and it’s all done with fresh food. This place is clean and the staff is always pleasant. I will keep supporting this place. I love the food. They do a great job!! This was just the Greek salad I got today - we also ordered a Swiss mushroom burger and a pizza!! But we dug in to that way too fast ! The salad will be my lunch tomorrow - it looks so darn good I can’t wait ! Another meal down and still not disappointed ! Well done...

My first visit was really disappointing. I went to the North Ridgeville takeout location and I don’t know if I will go back again. I tried the corned beef gyro that was being advertised on their parent facebook page around St. Patricks Day. Excited to try it and when I got home, it looked nothing like the photo-no cheese no nothing- just meat and bread. Then I thought, I could get past that because maybe I didn’t fully read the menu description. However, the meat itself was old, overcooked and dry- I couldn’t even finish it. The corned beef was cut super thick making it even more difficult to eat. I sent a facebook message and to try and rectify the issue prior to me making a public review but even though facebook showed the message was viewed, there was no response. I only gave it an additional star because the kid who took my order was nice when I went in to pick up the food.

I also ordered the baklava that was entirely too sweet but the texture was great. No pics....

Great gyros and menu. But went in 8/17 picked up a regular gyro and a chicken club gyro and fries. My wife got extremely sick a few hours later with what was undoubtedly food poisoning. By the next morning she was just fine. So I called Niko’s 8/18 and explained to the manager that my wife got food poisoning from the chicken gyro, I wasn’t angry my beef gyro was great, I wanted to let them know so maybe they could take precautions so no one else got sick. Instead the manager immediately went on the defensive to say it couldn’t be the gyro had to be that my wife was sick before hand or was allergic and kept pushing back and pushing back. Finally I had to interrupt him to say I was only calling because the knowledge may keep someone else from getting food poisoning. He didn’t want to listen, he just wanted to challenge me.Think his name was Russ, or Randy. Never offered a hint of an apology or maybe the next gyro was on them. Great gyros, but I...
