The old battle axe of a waitress made me wait until exactly 4pm for their prime rib special to start (it was 3:51). She literally said I'll come back at 4 making us twiddle our thumbs and wait until she came back at 4:07 pm.
So instead of getting my food a little after 4pm my order wasn't put in until 4:10, you know cuz of rules and she was pretty rude about it... Didn't see my food until 430.
Other than this issue, any experience I have had here was great! Food is always delicious and service has always until last visit. The burgers are top notch, fries are great, sandwiches are filled with meat, prime rib dinner was phenomenal. I recommend the loaded pizza rolls as an appetizer. Some of the best food in town.
I will definitely go back, and if I had her as a waitress again, I would just ask for a different one.
I personally feel this isn't an atmosphere for kids, it's more of a bar scene.
For example, on the day I had that bad service it was a Saturday with Ohio State playing. The bar was packed and there were a lot of wasted people there. There was a guy and his gal all over eachother with a family with 3 kids literally right next to them. The seating and booths are 6 feet from the bar.
I personally don't care and this was typical behavior for a bar, get as wasted as you want people. Just staying it's not an atmosphere for kids. If you do don't do it on a sports game day, you know Cleveland fans lol they take their sports seriously and can get a bit roudy!
Great work Tony Maloneys keep up the great work!
Edit 11-19-19 Thanks for responding Tony Maloneys mgmt. I appreciate the response, and I will def be back.
Sorry I know it wasn't the most beneficial review for you, but I keep my reviews honest and anyone who uses my reviews to help their choices appreciates the integrity. As do I when looking at reviews.
And regardless of what happened that day, the 10+times I've been there have been impeccable, so you still deserve 5 stars. I appreciate the explanation(s)...
Read moreThe fact that this place is affiliated with a awesome pizza place like Antonio's is shocking. My wife, my son and I stopped in for a quick bite....my 1st mistake. We were greeted and seated immediately by the hostess. Our waitress didn't make her first appearance for another 12 minutes, they were busy so I can see a little longer wait, no harm no foul. After taking a very complicated drink order ( 3 waters and the "featured" beer) my waitress disappeared to hand craft the beer and chemically combine some hydrogen and oxygen, I assume this to be true because the 25 min wait has to be something other than poor service right? Upon bringing our drinks we turned in what can only be described as a " idiot proof " order 2 plain hamburgers, one house special hamburger and small order of boneless wings. ( Full disclosure, I worked in a kitchen at a chain restaurant, TGIFridays, through highschool) this order is heaven in the kitchen on a busy night, one fryer order , and 3 grill, only one with cheese, the wait staff dresses your food in most restaurants, adding the lettuce tomato condiments Etc. So anything longer than 15 to 20min would be excessive even when busy. I wish I was exaggerating, but 37 minutes later the wings show up along with the message that our other food should be another 10 minutes she hopes. True to her word another 10 minutes passed before she came by the table, empty handed. 20 minutes later are disappointing Burger showed up. To be honest ,the location is great, the decor is nice, the theme even carries well, the problems that I observe are simple. There is only one Kiosk for the waiters and waitresses to enter their food orders, there are more bartenders than wait staff, and the owners are too busy running the place like it's their Kingdom instead of their business. I hope the place does well for the sake of my neighborhood, they have been around for years but I hear more competition is moving in and they are...
Read moreThis is the 2nd time we have ordered food to go from here in the last month. The first time we ordered my son found y’all through a google search as his favorite place to eat used to be Antonio’s at Parma town until they recently closed. He was so excited when he found Tony Maloneys and realized it was connected to Antonio’s (which I think the son owns?) anyway, we called and ordered take out and went and picked it up. He got his favorite which is the pepperoni nuggets and a pizza. I tried the French onion soup and the ribs. Everything was AMAZING! The best French onion soup I have ever had and the ribs were delicious, tender and meaty. My son said the pizza and nuggets were just as good as the Parma town Antonio’s. We ordered again tonight and again picked it up to eat at home. Unfortunately this time was not as good. It was close to closing time for them (ordered at 9pm and they closed at 10pm the girl told us) she made us feel as if we were bothering them and she was upset with us for ordering so late and an hour before they closed. Once again I ordered the ribs and French onion soup. The ribs were very dry, hardly no bbq sauce on them and the French onion soup was gross! There was no cheese on top and barely any croutons/bread. It was mostly all broth. My sounds pepperoni nuggets were mostly all bread, barley no pepperoni in them and the pizza was dry (barley no sauce on it) We also ordered the potato skins as an appetizer. They were horrible! No cheese and almost looked like someone ate the middle out of the potato! We were so disappointed because everything was so amazing last time and we were really looking forward to it again tonight. I think they rushed to make our food because they were closing soon and almost feel as if it might have been done on purpose So my advise is don’t order close to closing time! I am out $90 and we’re...
