When I went there, the boy working kept sucking his thumb. To my mortification, it wasn’t until after I got my shaved ice that I realized why he was doing it. There, alongside the mess he made with the syrups, was some of his blood smeared on the cup. No gloves or bandage while he handled anything. It was so gross; I just threw away...
