Today, my mom and I went to Taco Bell to get a Mexican Pizza—her favorite. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish.
The gentleman working the drive-thru window (older, possibly in his 40s, with a black mustache) was very rude. The first pizza my mom received had almost no toppings and wasn’t even cut. We drove back through to have it corrected, but instead of remaking it, he initially said, “I can just cut it.” I explained that it needed to be remade—she paid $6 and drove from Holly Ridge to get this.
When he handed us the second pizza, it looked like it had been hastily thrown together. My mom didn’t want to drive back through again, so we left. Unfortunately, the second pizza didn’t taste right either, and the overall quality was unacceptable. The poor food presentation, combined with the rudeness of the staff member, made the entire experience unpleasant.
I’ve attached photos of both pizzas for your reference. This was a horrible experience, and I hope it can be addressed to prevent it from happening to other customers.

The fact that the freeze machine has been broken for a month or two sucks but not as badly as them running out of soft shell tortillas, beef , chicken, cheese, sour cream, co2 for all the sodas so you get 4 drink options. It’s just ridiculous especially for a town that is so small. There’s no reason that they should be running out of this stuff so quickly unless whoever does the ordering has no idea of what they are doing. Also every time I’m here there is a line of 5 cars or more told to pull forward and wait. I’ve worked 4 years at Taco Bell in Wilmington which is 20 times busier and we rarely ran out of stuff. Read moreHave not been entirely pleased with this Taco Bell’s evening service. Anytime I dine here during they day I usually have no issues. With my schedule though I’m typically eating late at night, this location will sometimes be closed even when their online hours state otherwise. I am always missing small parts to my order if I do not double check my bag, and for the past couple weeks this locations “computers have been down” I’m not sure if it is entirely accurate or if they just don’t want to serve anybody.
