I came late to grab a bite to eat. The dining room was closed so I pulled over to park and have my meal. I do take my time and eat slowly. A young man came out to my car and told me there was no "long term" parking and the manager said I had to leave. I asked the young man if I couldn't finish my meal? To which he replied I'm sorry but you have to leave. I told him I would not be back. Who knew there was a time limit on eating your meal? As I drove home it dawned on me they were closing. It would have been better if I had been told they were closing and they needed to clear the parking lot. I would have been receptive to that. I guess the business is so good at this location that they don't mind losing the revenue from my purchases. On a Street I refer to as food row I can take my business to one of the many other eateries. I'm sure the $100 a month I spend eating out will be more appreciated at any one of them. At this location the service has always been slow and the drive thru Window is dirty. Tonight I chose the 2 for $6 mix n match. I had the whopper with cheese, and the original chicken. The chicken sandwich used to be a really good sandwich. Tonight it tasted more like fish. So much so I looked at it to see if it was chicken. The only BK that I have gotten good service from is the one inside the Wal-Mart on US 30 in Merrillville. I was humiliated to say the least. Please choose better phrasing or post signs on the lot that say you cannot eat in your car for longer than 15 -30 minutes. Positively the rudest experience. I will not be back to this...
Read moreWORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Just left this store, I ordered whopper with cheese meal. I specifically asked for the sandwich to be front boarded and the fries fresh and crispy because I wanted no salt. I waited 10 minutes for the order and stared at the fries laying in the tray when we walked in. The clerk bagged our order and I reminded her that the sandwich was to be cut in half and that I wanted fresh fries. The clerk took the bag back, the fries were slung back in they tray and she whined about not having a break. The manager then came out told her to go on break and complained that she was on break. She ask that they drop new fries which they had already. She asked how long and they said 4 min. She told the cook to pull the fries up and they were placed in the tray and given to me. I did not want to take the order in fact I wanted to refund my money but I said that will be the last time I visit that restaurant. The mgr and the clerk were totally unprofessional. They went back and forth with each other about breaks and they went back and forth with me about my order I spent my hard earned money. I came here to leave a review and saw that they have a 3.1 star rating which I should have checked before going there. They seemed totally unhappy about their jobs and if that's the case, find a knew one. Neither should have a position where they work with the public. The clerk who took our order even had a black eye, now I see why. Just plain ole rude both her and the manager. Do not waste your time with this...
Read moreI have lived in the area for a couple years now. It's the closest fast food place to my house so we end up going there often for quick meals. Unfortunately every time I go there I find myself dreading it. The waits are always very long, the employees have purposely messed with my food on multiple occasions, the quality is the worst I've seen at any Burger King. I'm not even a difficult customer, I am a restaurant manager myself and am completely understanding when a place is understaffed or having a hard time, but this Burger King is malicious. Not only that, the employees I have experienced are all VERY mean and rude. You can tell they hate their job and you can tell they are trying to get rid of customers. If i owned this establishment I would shut it down and clean house because every day they are open is just turning customers away to other places. They need a new crew, new manager, new attitude. Literally the WORST fast food experiences I have had anywhere. I hate giving...
