I was at the White Castle in Munster, Indiana yesterday, Sunday September 26th. I sat in line for about 15 minutes waiting for a crave case, half sliders and half cheeseburgers, two sacks of fries and a sack or onion rings. The indoor dining was not open. There were two cars ahead of me and it was at 4:15, so not any kind of dinner rush time. When I got home, my sliders had Jalapeno cheese on them. I called to tell them of their error and told them I would come right back to pick up my correct order. There was NO apology about making the mistake. When I went back, I told the order taker that I was the one with the mistake on the crave case. She said pull up to the second window, no other words. I also told her that she could throw in another sack of fries because mine were sure to be ice cold by the time I got back home with the correct burgers. When I got up to the window, she opened the window, handed me the two bags with the new sliders and a sack of fries, gave me a dirty look and shut the window. NO apology, not a word. I have worked in the food industry for 42 years and understand that mistakes happen but to be SO non apologetic and then nasty to me about their about the mistake, is not right. I will not be going back to that White...

I placed my $51 order online and entered two minutes after the time I was told the order would be ready. I saw 4 people working inside: 3 black teenagers and a heavy set white lady flipping sliders. She eventually came to the counter and was almost surly. She told the girl at the drive-up window (who was pleasant enough) to give me a large vanilla shake "when you get the chance". That was the first item which was ready. Ms. Big Surly then started making my order.. I waited 10 minutes for everything else and had to ask her for dipping sauces, which she gave me grudgingly. The bill was $4 higher than expected because I used a credit card...
