N V China Buffet — Restaurant in North Vernon

Where to begin? The food was, by far, the WORST I've had at ANY restaurant, regardless of the menu. Normally, I'm a fan of Chinese/Oriental cuisine and have eaten at a number of establishments over the years and had eaten here before the 2020 pandemic. As I write this, however, my stomach is making me want to spend an eternity wailing liquid screams to the "porcelain goddess" in the bathroom. Seriously, this was the WORST dining experience I've had since my days flipping burgers at a fast-food dive 40-plus years ago. I would ONLY recommend eating there if the ipecac syrup ain't working for you. The cost was outrageous, considering the poor quality of the food. The service was decent and courteous; that is the only reason I'm not giving it only one star. I'm not germophobe by any means, but if you ascribe to the adage that "cleanliness is next to godliness", then you will be entering the bowels...

Ridiculously low order accuracy. Been consistent waste of time ordering online. Gave them an oppurtunity to correct but was treated like a child.Final straw today. Ordered general Tso Chicken and it came cold and soggy (from the buffet instead of fresh). Also requested extra spicy and to have broccoli added to ensure it was made to order. It was not spicy AT all (not opinion,fact), lover sweetened, and they litteraly put 3 little sprigs of steamed broccoli on the side... another indicator it was not made fresh. I've eaten this dish for years... I know how it's supposed to taste. I also asked for white rice and got fried.... buffet is great if you eat in and don't care if food is super hoy. Went here for lunch today thinking it was still ad good as always. I was wrong. The sushi was bland and the wasabi had way too much ginger. The brocolli in the chicken and broccoli was barely cooked and the chicken had no flavor at all. The egg rolls tasted like they were fried in motor oil and not even sweet and sour sauce could make them taste any better. All in all the only good thing on the buffet was the crab rangoon and it was a bit bland as well. I was very disappointed because I use to like this place but I will never waste my money here again.
