Food was great but not so much the service. They went around 1 time and asked about coffee. I asked for a refill of sweet tea. It was not that busy. She said yes. She brought other drinks out, their first drink but never came back with my tea and never asked anyone else about their drinks while I was there. I even sat my glass in the end of the table so she should know and still nothing. As I was paying and heading out the door when she asked if I would like a drink to go. I shook my head no. I did not leave a tip. What I wanted was some tea to drink with my food. I took my tip and bought a drink elsewhere. Maybe next time they will be watching and asking people if they need refills instead of worrying about what drinks they need to get rid of like tea and stuff just because it is getting to be an hr or so before...

The only reason that I gave it one star is because u had too to rate.. Let me begin. Well we go in and set down and ask if they were serving breakfast. Time 1030 weightress said yes. So me and my family ordered no biggy. Until at 1105 the waitress comes to our table and said I'm sorry we are not serving breakfast now. And just stands there.. Ok I said we will just go. And ill pay for the drinks.. Get to the register teenager that was there. Said (give me 6 dollars) hateful as can be.. I look at my son and said lets go cashier said in a low voice don't come back @s_ hole.. I said ill make sure not to little miss rude.. Small hometown restaurant. It’s not big on decor and looks unassuming to visitors but you will not find better home country cooking in this town than here. Mashed potatoes aren’t instant, vegetables are always seasoned like you made them at home, cornbread is always so good. They have cobbler most days for dessert if not sold out and it’s homemade and if I can’t fit dessert I always take a “to go” order home! I have never been disappointed by their food or service here.
