I typically leave reviews for the sake of information. I'm leaving this review because it is well deserved! I have to start with the fact that I got a chance to fellowship with family. They are not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ!
Now I'll tell you about the other experience. I was told that this place was one that I shouldn't skip on my brief stay in town, advice I immediately appreciated. The place was really nice and rustic looking upon entry. You could tell that they had decent selections and quality based on immediate observation. It was late afternoon and people were in the drive thru as I was distracted by the cake. I was only there for the donuts but won't miss the chance to partake of the other options, if the Lord wills, next time I'm in the area. I tried to keep it simple, so I got a couple glazed donuts and the cinnamon thing in the picture, and the chocolate chip scone. I did get a couple pieces of cake as well but they got banged up on the ride home. They were pictures of excellence! I got an iced Cinnamon Toast Coffee with whipped cream. That was deliciously interesting. I had 2 of the cinnamon things and had to draw upon my powers of self-control! Just marvelous...I closed the box.
Now, here's how the review came about. I'm working from home, got my quiet time in God's word and was about to make coffee and eat my leftovers. After a day of sitting in the refrigerator, I was contemplating on how to reheat my pastries. I'm not a microwave guy but I didn't want to clean up the glaze in my convection oven. With regret, I went with the microwave. 12 seconds later...slice of Heaven! Who made these!?! It was reminiscent of a fresh Krispy Kreme, but bigger and not as sweet...better? I dare say that as a long-standing fan of the franchise, but I say this with a heartfelt confidence knowing that if it was this good from the microwave, it had to have been better fresh from the store. It was light and airy and just down right delicious. That's why the picture doesn't have them. đ I had to leave a review. This place is on my permanent travel list. Peace and blessings to...
Read moreI can't say that I was impressed. Ate there on a Friday night and ordered a pizza and basic salads and drinks. Not a lot of seating downstairs but there must be a lot of room upstairs if you are up to climbing the steep and long stairs. Twenty minutes after placing our order, the salads were brought to our table... in paper containers. A very small salad for it's price but tasty. When our very expensive pizza arrived, it looked good but the crust was chewy and SWEET. It had a glaze on the outer crust that was very sticky. Not much sauce and definitely not an Italian flavor. The toppings were all chopped fine except for the chunks of Italian sausage. I won't order a pizza there again. They offer basic pizza combinations but if you want extra toppings, hold on to your wallet. I can't imagine what their profit percentage is on their pizza.
The atmosphere is like eating at a food factory. No salt, pepper or other condiments are on the table and no silverware. Only plastic forks. The condiments and eating utensils are at a table in the front to serve yourself like a fast food restaurant.
The employees seem not to be well trained at customer service. Friendly enough but not so welcoming.
A 16"Pizza, two salads and two beers were $43.
I know this place is new so I may wait a while and go back for a...

It was late, but they appeared to be open, drove up to window, I was told, âSorry weâre now closedâ, ugh, after breaking out of this sickness Iâve been in, I thought WoW, I really just wanted 1. She came back w/, u got it, the ultimate Maple Bacon, already bagged. Upon handing it to me, she said, â our last love offering this eveningâ & wouldnât accept anything from me, except âThank Youâ.
