Lived in towns and cities across this great nation, I'm in Manhattan now the east village. If somehow boxers was transported here to the village, there wouldn't be enough room for the people wanting to get in. I fell in love with the place while living in the Poconos, I would drive back and forth to go there, finally I moved to north Hampton because of the place. It got a mix of people which made the place interesting. They didn't have to compete with the other local joints, what made the place work so well had allot to do with the owner. Wasn't afraid to try new things without trying to copy other bars. It's been some time since I was last there, I hope it hasn't changed too much. Best service. Wanted a snake bite shot. They “didn’t have lime juice” but after requesting it, they went and got it and made the PERFECT SHOT. In the ashes of what Boxers was, arises the Phoenix of Breakers. It may be the same building, same prices, same atmosphere, but the update of the interior and ventilation makes it THE SPOT. The new owner gave the place the face lift it needed, even though I do miss the old feel. New pool tables, new drink menu, new food program. Awesome spot.
