Eastern Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Northampton

This is a very good restaurant- I live close by and it is my favorite Chinese place in the area. It is more authentic then a lot of other Chinese places. My fiance and I eat here frequently and the service is always wonderful and proves a great dining experience. The hot and sour soup is the best I have ever had (and I always try hot and sour soup at every Chinese restaurant I visit). Other favorites are chicken & broccoli (or mixed vegetables), and Mei Fun. We usually ask for small changes to some menu items (get white sauce instead of brown, no carrots, etc.) and Michael is always great about it! Prices are good too- can share an entree (the serving size is perfect for sharing- a lot of food on a plate!) and get some dumplings (which are also some of the best I have had) for maybe around $15 for dinner (and lunch is cheaper if you get a special). I have to give them a 1star due solely on customer service. I have been ordering from here for a couple months as they deliver and have amazing food. Today however I did my normal call/delivery was told 35 mins at 45 mins I called to check the status (no big stuff happens) was told it was out for delivery and I confirmed the address again. 10mins later the driver calls (very nice lady) she was told to go to Northampton not Whitehall (I'm literally 4mins away) so an hour after ordering my food arrives. I have to call back because part of my order was missing. While on the phone we find that the food is cold. The manager got on the phone and told me that is not there problem to keep the food warm once it leaves and to just eat it. Then starts to argue with me about how it is not his problem. Well I'm eating microwaved Chinese and nothin was done...

I had a take out order I placed online their website charges me and they never received my order. When I called to check the lady was very rude telling me to call the website when there was no number on the website to call other than theirs. When I called to ask if they had a website number the lady gave me attitude again about how she can’t help me cus she didn’t have an order and I was asking for the website customer service they then gave me some phone number when I called it was a persons cell phone who had no idea what I was talking about. I’ve be never had such a bad experience. I would order from them again but after the way I was treated never again.
