I had the kathiew with beef and fried spring rolls. If you don’t know Cambodian food, kathiew is similar to the Vietnamese pho. The broth was flavorful and very good portion. The spring rolls were light and crispy. I, myself, am Cambodian and didn’t need help with the menu but witnessed others ahead and behind that were definitely new to Cambodian food. The staff were very friendly and helpful explaining the options and recommendations to the customers. The restaurant itself is no frills. If you’re looking for fancy, this isn’t it. The place has 6 tables that could sit up to 4 people and is first come first served so if you’re coming in with a big party, don’t expect to be seated together. The food is the star of the place. I was in and out of there in 20 minutes not because I was in a hurry but the service was efficient. I would definitely come back to try everything else on the menu that reminds me of...
Read moreHappy to have this wholesome and delicious restaurant a few steps away from our home. How lucky can you get? Our first trip out to "Soup Noodle Bowl" was tonight and it won't be our last. Excellent service. We were brought a very nice pot of hot tea on this cool evening, one of the last nights of winter. The staff served us table side with tofu spring rolls, a noodle dish for my wife and a yummy kuy teav beef similar to phó for me. It was so goooood :-) Thank You Soup Noodle Bowl for making your new home in our neighborhood. We are looking forward to getting to know you. Cheers - S and J
You can bring your own container to the restaurant for take out meals. I hadn’t heard of this before but I really like the option to reduce the waste steam 👍🏽 how great to bring over the clean rice maker pot and bring one filled delicious...
Read moreExcellent food and excellent service! We carried out from Soup Noodle Bowl today and we loved every single dish. We had: egg rolls, spring rolls with tofu, spring rolls with shrimp, beef sticks, lo mein, veggie fried rice, stir fried flat noodles with chicken (nr 11), empanadas (so good!) and 3 Kuy Teav soups: chicken, beef and veggie. The soups are very similar to Vietnamese Pho - all were delicious.
I especially liked the beef soup (nr 5) and the stir fried flat noodles (nr 11). The noodles came with a ton of fresh veggies, which was a nice surprise. Egg rolls and fresh spring rolls were amazing. My kids really liked the empanadas (not Cambodian but very good).
I highly recommend this place, it's newer but all the food is fresh, high quality and made with love. Yum! Will be getting it...
