Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Northborough

Very friendly staff, fast service, and the place is spotless. However, I had never been to a Jimmy John's before, so I asked for a recommendation. They recommend a turkey sub, and the place is billed as "the world's greatest gourmet sandwich shop", so I thought I would give it a try.

It was over $10 for the sub, a bag of chips, and a small fountain drink. The sandwich itself was the most lackluster thing I have ever eaten. Absolutely nothing "gourmet" about it: sad, unappealing white sub roll; shredded lettuce; Mayo; and the bad kind of shiny turkey (the kind that is perfectly uniform and slightly gelatinous). No cheese. The tomatoes were yummy, but I didn't pay $10 for a tomato sandwich.

You can get a better (and cheaper!!) Turkey sub at literally any mom and pop pizzeria or sandwich shop within 50 miles, or you can get one 100 times better if you drive 39 seconds up the hill to Wegmans, where a combo with chips and a drink is $2 cheaper.

It's the "gourmet"...

Extremely disappointed. I was very excited to see that they had lettuce wraps so my husband and I decided to go here for lunch. The boy working the register was extremely rude to the customers before us and was very rude to us as well. If you hate your job you should probably get another one. I felt very bad for the couple in front of us, they had very strong accents and he couldn't understand them and instead of being patient and helpful he was giving them a lot of attitude and was frustrated at them. He acted like them coming in was a giant inconvenience for him. Anyways, I ordered a unwich and asked to add tomatoes, he basically rolled his eyes at me and didnt actually put tomatoes on my sandwich. It also was supposed to come with honey dijon which he put mayo instead. For an $8 sandwich it was extremely small and not worth the money. I wont be coming back to this location and I hope the owner/managers look into who this worker was and do...

Never ever again I'm done with this place! I deleted there app from my phone. I had a reward for buy one combo get 1 0ne half off that expired the next day. By mistake I ordered the items separately I asked the manager to cancel the order and ring it up with the reward. He said that he wouldn't. So much for customer service. I told him that I would not be back he could care less ! I had been going there since they opened. This managers attitude made me find a new sandwich shop and he did me a big favor.
