Visited this McDonalds despite my previous note to self to NEVER go back...worst run McDonald's ever. This visit reaffirmed my belief that customer service is NOT a priority for them. Had planned on purchasing filet o fish. In previous years, they offer deals on fish sandwiches during Lent. We inquired about a deal and were told only if you have the app on the phone could we get the special pricing of BOGO free. (Pretty sad considering some of the older generation no offense intended are not up on these 'deals'). I currently did not have the app on my phone and the person I was with had left their phone at home. I quickly added the app to my phone, headed back in and tried ordering 2 deals to which the cashier informed me you can only get 1 deal, even if you pay in separate transactions. He went to scan the QR code and then realized that there is no QR code associated with this app. Apparently, I also needed to pay through my phone to receive the deal. Okay, not willing to just give the deal pricing to us, and there was no way we were paying around $7.00(!) for a filet o fish meal. I believe the price for just the sandwich was around $4.50...anyhow, just another reason to promise myself (yet again) to avoid this McDonalds...
Read moreI wish I could rate 0 stars. I typically don’t leave reviews especially negative ones but after years, this place finally deserves one. This Mc Donald’s is in my town and it’s only a short drive from my home so we often come here. Whenever I order a burger from here it is ALWAYS made incorrectly. Double cheese burger, no mustard, no pickles, extra onions. Pretty simple right? It’s always correct on the screen and when it’s not, I kindly correct them. But every time the food is made and given to me, it’s incorrect. The sad part is the staff working is typically older teenagers or young adults in their 20s (basing off appearance). Everyone makes mistakes, I get that it. But when it’s consistently incorrect, that’s frustrating. What’s prompting me to write this review is my experience I had today. I told the girl at the window my order was incorrect. She apologized and told them she needed a new burger. I hear her tell them the order. She said it correctly. The new burger was STILL made incorrectly. I just don’t understand. I’m thinking next time I want some Mickey D’s, I might take a trip to uxbridge which is double the time it takes to get to the one in town. Hopefully...
Read moreI went here in a hurry an my way to an appointment. Line was long but we waited patiently. Not sure why the two ordering points, you have to wait for the guy in front of you anyway. But we pay, guy in front gets his bags of food with a high five from someone inside. I pull up, get my drinks and the dreaded "please pull up". Let me explain what i saw. If I pull up i get stuck in a parking space behind the line for drive-thru for God knows how long. Besides it was 2 burgers and 2 French fries. That's it. I tell the girl "no", i will wait. 30 seconds later i get my food. We all know if i moved it would be 10 minutes and me going in and asking where my food was! Anyway some 10 year old kid gives me my food and said: "Next time can you move up." To which I replied "No". And drove away. First, don't come out and lecture me like that, scolding me for not listening to you. It's fast food, not a drive in theater with no movie. Second, I am the customer, not a student or your child you don't get to scold me. Lastly i don't plan on ever coming back so no worries! I had never been there before, won't be returning.
