Corner Bakery Cafe — Restaurant in Northfield Township

Went there with two elderly person an I guess the cashier couldn’t hear her well an ofcourse we were very slow in ordering an I can tell he was upset so we proceeded to order an he couldn’t hear her again an instead of asking her to repeat, he said with a demeaning tone “ what did you say haw?” I was upset because they are elderly people an things could have been handled a little better . He then ask take out or dine in which we said dine in which he said well we needs to show our vaccine card which both my clients didn’t have on them but I did .. then was when it got a little off the handle because I mention to him it would have been nice to inform us before we ordered that we needed vaccine cards to sit down an eat which then he got upset saying he didn’t have to tell us anything that there were signs on the door an that it’s state mandate an some other story . Honestly it doesn’t matter if he was right or we were it matters how you deal with people an just simple humility makes a difference . I wanted to speak to someone before I reviewed so I called about 20 min ago an guess who I got yup the manager himself which is the same person I had the little issue with an not surprising he had an attitude on the phone with me again an said oh I remember you when I said I remembered his voice an he proceeded to say oh I talk to my manager an told about the issue etc an I said how can you tell him there would be an issue if you know you didn’t do anything wrong an how can he get your side of the story not not mine .. men I swear I had to just hang up he was not apologetic an was just...

I will never return to this location. They tried to give me an old salad must have been made hours ago!! Then charged me return price. I get back to work looked at this runny tomatoes juice at the bottom of the clear container and also noticed that they pile my blue cheese inside of the contain just sitting on top of my salad...and there were 5 other small containers of bacon and salad dressing inside on the contain of salad. The lettuce was welted very badly. I returned the salad and demanded a manager; this huge man with a filthy black shirt on, looking like a bum came to the front counter with an attitude. I went off on him, talked to him like he was a 4 year old check. I asked him how he could let something like this leave his store. I responded like a 4 year old child...I did not want to talk any further and asked for my refund and filed a complaint with the better business bureau.

My past two experiences were pretty crappy here. One of the workers, Taytay was talking about how horrible it was that her daughter has red hair while I’m standing right by her(I have red hair) just super weird that she decided to say that when I’m standing there waiting for my food? She very easily could’ve waited till I left 2 minutes later to make that comment. The second visit was just very hectic and out order was completely wrong but Will helped us out and he deserves some recognition. He was running around all over helping everyone and was just overall a great help. He fixed everything but I still just don’t plan on coming back to...
