You do not want to be treated the way the owner and business has treated my family and I today. We went for breakfast... 4 of us. Although we understand it was very busy and loud in there, it was already hard to hear our waiter to begin with but we tried to keep our minds open to having a good time! Our waiter was not communicating well with us and on accident smacked a cup with Tabasco causing a loud cracking sound cracking the cup and spilling water, he pretended like nothing happened and didn’t say anything and walked away. Kind of weird, but we still kept good attitudes and simply asked for a new water. Our food came, first order was made wrong, no apology or anything, but eventually the correct order was brought out. After that, one of us noticed there was a hair in the untouched food, so politely we pointed the hair out and asked for it to be remade. Still no apologies, we know hair in food in not an uncommon thing for the restaurant industry, so we didn’t think much of the hair but the reaction we got from the staff was really uncomfortable and no where near necessary! We thought it was extremely disappointing that we didn’t get a sorry with all of these accidents. We still kept a decent attitude and weren’t rude. While waiting for the one meal to be replaced, we had what seemed to be the owner come up to our table. He had been upset with us for reporting the hair in the plate to just the waiter… because that’s somehow the customers fault. He didn’t say sorry or reassure us in anyway, but instead he did decide to tell us is wasn’t their fault because all of the kitchen staff wear hats, not hair nets… baseball caps. The waiters didn’t have anything protecting their hair neither did the owner so I’m not sure why he felt the need to tell us this in the rude way that he did. He told us that and left, nothing else didn’t ask us if we wanted anything or how the rest of the food was. We felt extremely disrespected and uncomfortable since we go here very often. My family member with the hair in his food was very confused why he was being called out as a liar for the hair and what the point of the “owner” coming up to our table and talking to all of us in that way was, so he went up to the owner and still no apology just more rude comments! So many more little things come up that make it shocking that the management thinks this is okay …. but after contemplating leaving we were starving at this point we decided to stay and eat. The correct meal was brought out with no hair after the wrong meal was brought out as a correction. We will not be going back and recommend anyone thinking about going here avoids this type of service at all costs! We still paid full price and were offered nothing but disregard for our feelings. Very dissatisfied!!!! I would give it negative...
Read moreWhile waiting to be seated for half an hour, tall employee behind the register came up to inform us that they will not let us & our service dog inside because a of a customer complaint regarding the dog. Actual reason was due to my red hat I happened to be wearing when I entered and was sitting/waiting for my group of four name to be called up. That same customer, while waiting next to us in a disgusted smirk the entire time, clearly complained to them when he got called up to his table in front of us. Right afterwards, the same, tall employee that just talked to that customer complaining , walked up to us and said that we will not be seated because of a “customer complaint of the dog”. Employee sided with that customer and not with what was right and legal (service dog). So sad that this is happening in today’s America because of one person not liking another because their own beliefs and values are different than the other individual. All of course, done cowardly, behind someone’s back (who was right next to them while waiting for the table and afterwards, right behind them when they were complaining when they got called up to their table). If the dog really bothered a person, something immediately to myself or the staff would have been communicated and not later after being there waiting for so long alongside that individual. As a former legal refugee immigrant, and now as a US citizen, I will at least voice my first amendment rights on here and speak up about it because my rights and wrong actions taken by the employee were clearly smeared and shut down in person inside this business...
Read moreThis is the worst dining experience I've ever had. I can over look a waiter who broke a glass while giving us water, but a disrespectful owner is where I draw the line. After finding a hair in my friends food, we asked the waiter to bring it back for a new one. Then the owner comes over and tells us in a rude tone that, "everyone in the kitchen wears a hat" so it couldn't be from them. Keep in mind, the kitchen staff are wearing baseball caps, not hairnets. Also, it could have been the waiters hair. That's besides the point. Hair in food is probably pretty standard for a restaurant and yet the owner felt the need to come over to essentially call us liars. We didn't even touch the food yet, what is the value in lying to get a new one? My friend then proceeded to go up to the owner and ask why he did what he did, and the owner continued to never apologize and defend his actions.
The owner never apologized for the hair, and more importantly for his actions. I will never be coming back to this restaurant, and I suggest you do the same to avoid an experience like this.
I left out many of the unimportant details, but, just know it was worse then what I have written. If I could give negative...
