Glenview Prairie Club — Restaurant in Northfield Township

I emailed the manager of the Glenview Prairie club, Kristen Kechik, regarding booking their Glenview Club house venue for my daughters birthday party and have never been more disappointed by the lack of hospitality and communication from a venue. If this the service a customer gets from a MANAGER, I can’t imagine what kind of customer service we would get from the facility. Out of all the venues and event planners/managers I have spoken to, Kristen was the most unprofessional and not the friendliest. She was very short in her emails, did not even say hello, and basically emailed me the contract saying “sign here” without even explaining the contract, food/beverage options and venue. Clearly I did not book my event there since this was the initial impression of the park district staff. Unbelievably bad customer service. Been here many times before and enjoyed my experience. But this last time, we walk up to the counter with no tee time. This older woman at the counter asked me and my father to check with starter on what times were open. We were in no rush so my dad said we would wait. She then stormed out to check herself and said sarcastically "thanks for helping" as she walked out. It got very uncomfortable with the otger guests in the room but we let it slide because it was probably busy, seeing as how it was labor day. She came back and told my father it would be about a half hour wait to which he looked at me to see what I wanted to do, so she said "forget it, I'll talk to him" as she shifted her attention to me to which I said we were leaving. I want to mention the great service I received today from Kristen at the clubhouse. I tried to get set a tee time on line but the system was down, and when I called Kristen at the clubhouse, she confirmed that the system was down and a tee time could not be set. I asked her if she would have the time to call me and she did(even though she was busy), once the system came up, and she took the booking from me over the phone.
