This is the best restaurant I have ever eaten in Glenview at and I have lived in Glenview 34 years. There are over 100 dinner items on the menu. We ordered the food to go, and we were amazed when we got home. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and it was in completely different containers. There was an extremely large container of breaded white chicken meat and then a separate container that must’ve been 2 cups of the very thick sweet-and-sour sauce that had pineapple and tomato in it. My wife ordered the Mongolian beef and I think it’s the best I’ve ever had typically restaurants sliced the beef so thin it’s like lunch meat and I don’t like that this was about an eighth of an inch thick and it was super perfect and really tender. It is listed on the menu with the red pepper meaning it is spicy but they ask you do you what level of spice do you want and we went with mild. We also ordered the spring rolls wrapped in rice paper with shrimp and peanut dipping sauce and that was just amazing. And then we also ordered fried rice with vegetables, and that was also remarkable - completely packed with a large amount of vegetables, including fresh mushrooms. If you could give a restaurant six stars, I would give this restaurant six stars. If you order online, you also get a...
Read moreI love this place. I’m not sure why some of the people complaining get the most basic dishes ever. Chicken or shrimp fried rice? Kung pao beef? Boring! Their menu is enormous with a variety of dishes. Be a little adventurous and try something new. They have Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese, Thai, and Korean. They also have boba tea and smoothies. Service was good, they were pleasant and we got our food fast. They also have sufficient seating for dining in. They have mammoth portion sizes so you’ll have leftovers to take home. The prices are very reasonable since you’ll have leftovers to take to work. It’s located by a Jewel so plenty of parking available.
-pumpkin fried with salty egg 4 - first time trying this. I would recommend eating this with rice, that way the rice can help soak up some of that salt. -fish sauce chicken wings 5/5 - chicken was big and juicy. Fish sauce was a little subtle. I would have liked to have it more prominent. -sea eel and shrimp fried rice 5/5 - eel is cut into small pieces but good size shrimp. Fried rice had the right balance of flavor. -beef cubes with tomato rice 5/5 - large pieces of beef, fresh tomatoes, and rice was...
Read moreI went to this restaurant with a friend this week and the customer service was terrible! I was hoping to have a relaxed atmosphere to have conversation with my friend, but the young Chinese girl waitress (who looked grumpy and wayyy too serious) kept asking us every two minutes if we were ready to order or not. It was as if she was getting irritated and annoyed we were there when they should be grateful that they’re even getting customers there! She came back like three times to rush us for an order which was rather annoying and unprofessional, when we were just easing into our seats for some small talk. During the meal, my friend only took a couple bites into this plate and I had my pho bowl full, and she would come back and ask if we were done yet. She would come back every five minutes to ask us if we were done or ready to box our meals up when our plates were still full! If you eat the food here, you better order takeout because their waitresses don’t know how to treat customers well or appreciate them. Y’all better learn to teach your waitresses some proper manners and courtesy if you want a successful business here in America and...
