HomeGoods — Local services in Northfield Township

Since I went to Northbrook to do some things, and since I have spare time to do other things, I decided to visit their location of HomeGoods. The store is pretty much the same as the other locations I visited. The store is clean and bright, and everything is quite organized. There is so much stuff that I did not really know where to start. Their selections are actually nice and they have unique items that are new to me. I do not doubt the quality of products and items they have because I've been buying almost everything from this store for years and I've never really had much of a problem with anything I bought, and if there is, it is not really something huge. What I like about this location is that they have a lot of clearance sales. As much as I want a product, I also consider its price, and even though the prices of this store's products are reasonable, it is still a great deal if I buy something from their clearance. They also have high-quality products and unique designs, just like the chair I found, which can be seen in the picture. I was trying to return some stuff, I had receipt and it wasn't over 30 days, but unfortunately I had to deal with associate by the name Mimosa. She checked literally every single item, and refused to return. Everything according to her was old, unmatched. She been trying to send me back to the store where I originally bought these items. But I insist to call a manager, and problem was sold! It was terrible experience with Mimosa, they shouldn't hire people like this, who's not friendly, not helpful, not professional at all. I think she just wanted to boss me around, but I was smart enough to call the manager. One star goes to Mimosa, not to store, coz I love HomeGoods and always go. And thanks God, other workers...

My wife and I often go to this store in Glenview and last time we were there, we found a beautiful leather recliner but they only had one on display. The store manager, Era was amazing as she went above and beyond when she took the time to help us and realized how much we needed 2 pieces to fit in the office. She didn’t spare effort and came looking for us in the store to tell us that she initiated a mass group messaging to all the stores in the area to see if they happen to carry one. She eventually was able to hear back from Geneva, IL and she asked them to hold it for us. She displayed leadership and we could see how every employee and client respected and appreciated her, and we did too. Onward...
