Stay away from this store. Deceptive sales practice.
I bought a new Samsung Galaxy S10e on 7/21/2019 from this Best Buy store located at 1072 Willow Rd, Northbrook, IL 60062.
The sales person advised there was a promotion that required $10 payment only per month for 2 years, and after then I will own the smartphone.
According to his explanation, I needed to pay $31.25 every month but the carrier will grant $21.25 bill credit so the actual amount required was to be $10 per month. I have sales person's handwriting that reads “$21.25 bill credit from Sprint over 24 months”.
Except the handwriting, none of the contract documents contains or indicates that different amount of bill credit from Sprint other than $21.25 will be given.
However, the first bill I received after the purchase shows Sprint gives me only $10 credit and I have to pay $21.25 every month over 2 years.
On 9/16 I called Sprint and was told the $10 credit amount is correct for upgraded account, and if I want $21.25 monthly credit it should've been a new account or a newly added line, about which the sales person didn't mention. Sprint representative also confirmed there’s nothing they can do for me as this is sales compliance issue from Best Buy.
Same day I stopped by this store to discuss this issue but they were not cooperative and refused to take responsibility for the error. Both the sales and his manager kept trying to make this my error arguing I misunderstood their explanation about the contract, even though I presented them the sales guys' handwriting that clearly shows “$21.25 bill credit from Sprint over 24 months”.
I also tried to contact the store manager via phone call and email, who’s been unresponsive to my request as of yet.
I wouldn’t have purchased the good if Best Buy sales person provided correct information and didn’t exercise deceptive sales tactic.
Their response has been totally unprofessional and what they've been doing is just blaming customer even though they are at fault. Horrible.
Update. I brought this to the small claim court and they agreed to a settlement covering not only the monthly charges but also the court fees. The original amount I asked them was less than $300 but they refused without proper excuses arguing it was me that misunderstood, which eventually made them to pay me $900 approx. Good...

I’m disgusted with how I have been treated and more so - that no one cares at all! I bought a TV over two weeks ago, including delivery and installation and paid for it. For two weeks they are unable to deliver and install! Two previous attempts the geek squad called ahead of time saying they are coming, the first time they said they are only coming to deliver and when I said no, that’s not what ordered and paid for, they cancelled without any notice. I went to the store on Willlow where I bought the thing, they ordered another install appointment, geek squad a week later called saying they are coming but they didn’t. And lied to the office because I have a record of all incoming and outgoing calls. Then the “manager” promised to definitely get this done and to waive or reduce the installation fee I was charged because of what I have been through. Then she calls back to say no, no more freebies because I bought the Tv on sale, but promised today’s installation. So today, they made me stay home for four hours but no one showed up. I made calls twice, corporate simply says we don’t care. Store manager said it will take hours to find out whether anyone can come to install today....Why do you people even exist? Why do you have your jobs? Best Buy in Northbrook is the worst store on this planet. No one cares, no one trains people, no one cares for people, as if they serve in some third world country. You all should be ashamed of yourselves, the entire store and your corporate. Best Buy sold me a product which I don’t have for over two weeks after buying it: you stole my money and my property and you are not lifting a finger...

As everyone else knows, we have been affected by the Zfold 3 update issue, long story short we went, talk with actually Tmobile authorized dealers aka stores and their managers no luck in having a replacement for us unfortunately this phone have had issues and inventory is scarce. But as a last result customer service rep from Tmobile and store manager send us to this best buy on this beautiful Friday Night. The cell phone rep wonderful guy amazing the manager that is another story hint the 3 star review. He was less than pleasant to deal with came back after his employee was trying to figure out the best way to help us and how to enter a promo code from Tmobile corporate office themselves. But unfortunately like the Tmobile rep told me while I had her on speaker that best buy Tmobile is a 3rd yes a 3rd party vendor ( aka swamp meet store guy ) so there promo code will not work for that store since they are 3rd party not even a real Tmobile authorize retail store. So all his machismo tough guy attitude pretty much got squash by the Tmobile corporate rep. Womp womp womp !!!!..... other than that experience with the manager of this beautiful establishment ( white male around 6'0 tall heavy set around 240 - 300 lbs guy bald if that paints a picture of the manager ) everything else went well besides the whe horror of the whole situation I handle all that negativity well.
