This Spiro’s Deli place is so awesome! Would definitely recommend it here. The ambiance of this place is everything, literally. The vibes and all just really light up my mood. They have a very neat structure and their interior is neat. The inside is clean, neat, tidy, bright, well organized, and decent. It definitely looks great in the eyes and not just that but their service is phenomenal! Their staff is friendly, kind, polite, well trained, cooperative, professional, and patient which is a good thing since I would always ask for their opinions. They would also talk to you properly and help you with their menu and even regarding the place. Would really assist you with everything which is just amazing. Their foods are also perfect. I could say that it is really the highlight of the restaurant. I would always order their Bomber, beef sandwich, Meatball soup, Fries, and a chosen drink of mine. Would really recommend those! the taste of the sandwich is literally the bomb. The grilled onions and all, the cheese, all are just perfect chef’s kiss! To start off, this was a takeout order, but partially dine-in. First time I’ve ever been to this place, which is a little worrying because you don’t know what you’re walking into. Right when the door closed behind me as I walked in, the employee greeted us. Me and my buddy ordered a couple of turkey “poor boys” which was a pretty cool and unique name (especially for a business open OVER 60 YEARS!) which made it feel like I was back in that era. Once we ordered, a gentleman other came from the back and was the owner. He greeted us and gave us a short brief background of their history. As a foodie, I asked what was his go to sandwich? He said “the bomber” which is their unique spin on an Italian beef. Our sandwiches were already made, so I said we’ll give it a try the next time we come in. What does the owner do? Runs to the kitchen, and literally makes me a sample bomber. I was extremely upset. Why was I upset? Because I did not order a whole bomber to go! Had earlier friendly service experience late November when I was told from word of mouth. The food is above average and on the pricier side. After my last and experience paying nearly $20 for just a sandwich and fry. Seemed a little high for 2 items. I first asked what the price of said sandwich was. Hispanic employee responds "it's on the menu". So based of is statement I should pay what the menu price is. Only after the price discrepancy. He got defensive and frustrated and claimed the laminated menus are "old". A younger caucasian gentleman charged me back the correct amount with no fuss. I left the establishment and the Hispanic employee incoherently muttered some comment directed towards me. I don't know what his deal is or if he was just having a bad day.
