Cantina en la Ocho — Restaurant in Northfield

The food was just okay. Although I was not expecting it to be an actual bar type setting it still was a decent atmosphere. It was very clean and quiet. The waiter was nice and friendly which helped with the overall experience. What lead me here was the review of the birria tacos.... I didn't share that same feeling. I myself didn't enjoy them to much but to be fair I did remix them a little so that could be the reason. But overall I personally would be okay with not going back. But if you're in the area check them out because the food wasn't nasty I just personally have a higher standard for my tacos. 😆 Also they didn't have many options...

We stopped in for a casual meal, this is a little bar with 1 pool table, bar seating, and some tables around the place.

We got the bacon cheese fries and the bacon was real bacon, not little bits, and the fries were delicious! I got the ground beef taco special of the day for $5. Hubby got the Carolina Gold wings and they were delicious. Service was good but we sat right at the bar so we could grab their attention as needed.
