Mr. Hero — Restaurant in Northfield

I have been going to the Mr. Hero location Northfield Ohio for a long time.14 years back when Mike owned it. Every-time we go in there a strong odor hits you in the face. I also have noticed the cost cutting measures I used to think I was imagining but I know now that I am not imagining anything anything. First thing is when I place my to go order she always holds my cup. I must ask for it because I am going to wait 10 minutes for my food I may drink a little to much Diet Pepsi and cost them money. I also noticed that when I am finished with my order SHE NEVER forgets the cheese cup but ketchup, napkins and the solo cup of vinegar I must ask for every time. ( putting in cups to save a penny or what?) She also gives us a little as possible. I like MALT VINEGAR with my fries not a cup of apple cider vinegar. What happened to the packs of it. Just not the same. What upsets me the most is I ordered 2 10" Romans 2 Large wafers, cheese cup and a drink. She STUFFS it in the smallest bag possible, smashes the fries just so not to use two bags which I believe should of been. After I asked for another bag and she gets a pink plastic bag from a grocery store. What the heck I did not spend enough to get a Mr. Hero bag big enough to hold my food? Ridiculous! I can tell you this happens many times and I am sick of it. She is sneaky and will do anything to save a penny including...

I walked in got a Roman burger meal but when I was saying what I wanted. I said I wanted the waffle fries and cheese and the guy stopped me and said that comes with the meal. I get my food look in the bag and no cheese. I go back in and ask where the cheese was and they said it didnt come with the meal it was extra. I told them what happened and this woman was very rude about the cheese not coming with the meal. Never going back again for the fact that she was very rude to me. When you go in make sure you ask for cheese with your meal because they obviously dont know how to tell you the accurate description of the meal even when you...

The Mr. Hero in Northfield always provides good food and good service. Very nice, friendly people and that has been true for the entire last twenty years. Over that time I've occasionally gone there for lunch and I've never been disappointed with the food or the service. Now, it's just fast food.. so have reasonable expectations on quality.
