Update 7/16/24: I was sent a $30 gift card for the Northfield location via text. I do consider the incident rectified, for which I am thankful. However, I still have no interest in going to this location for the foreseeable future.
To be clear, I have ordered at other locations and had good experiences. This one however, when I ordered the Gyro last Friday I noticed a bug on my lettuce. I didn't think much of it and brushed it off as an accidental little guy who got through. Well, I was wrong. I ordered the same thing today and was greeted with multiple little bug friends in my Gyro. I ordered it through DoorDash so I had to return it myself to the location. I explained the situation and showed the pictures of the bugs to a worker. She seemed sympathetic and thankful for bringing it to her attention. She took down my name and said a manager would call me to discuss a refund.
After receiving the call I was informed that they would not be able to reimburse me due to it being ordered through a 3rd party. Even though both orders were stapled closed upon receiving them. I was told I would need to get issued a refund through DoorDash. When I contacted DoorDash they would only refund me for my order today and not Friday because "it was days ago".
I do believe that though the manager who was located in the Mayslanding location (however, she assured me she had employees go through the lettuce at the Tilton Rd location and found no bugs)seemed sympathetic and thankful for me to bring that to their attention, that they could have done more to make sure I was better compensated for the whole ordeal. I could have came in and caused a scene, but I discreetly informed the employee of the incident and showed her the pictures. Working in customer service, especially food related I expected to at least receive a gift certificate in the amount that I paid for my meal & delivery. I unfortunately, will not be returning to this location and I hope anyone who ate here in the past 5 days (or ever does in the future) has checked their food...
Read moreIf anyone in your party is scent sensitive, make sure everyone has already gone to the bathroom before you arrive. The strong chemical air freshener in the bathroom will stick to the clothes of anyone who steps foot in there. (This is the second location of greens & grains I’ve visited and both have had horrible overpowering bathroom fragrance)
That said, this time we tried the chick’n pesto parm sandwich, and got the side servings of the buffalo chickpea salad and the broccoli and kale with hemp parmesan. (With carrot sticks and a pita)
The sandwich was really good! The ciabatta was perfect, and the sauces/cheez didn’t compete with each other. It had 1.5 chick’n patties (seems like maybe Boca patties? They were round and breaded)
The buffalo ranch chickpea salad was excellent! During my first visit at the other location I had a Buffalo chik’n kale wrap and it was an overwhelming Buffalo flavor, but here, it was tempered nicely with the ranch. A pleasant creamy Buffalo sauce on chickpeas and the occasional crunch of celery. Yum yum!
The broccoli and kale may have gone bad. At first I thought it might have been an accidental overseasoning with something that can taste overwhelmingly metallic, but after a few bites, I noticed the additional funky flavor that comes from bad broccoli. (It wasn’t just my tastebuds, my husband noticed the flavor too). I ended up digging out the broccoli and only eating the kale. (It still had a bit of the funky metallic flavor, but it was muted and manageable.). I didn’t get a bellyache afterwards, so it hadn’t gone as bad as it could have gone. I’m willing to try it again, but maybe at a different location.
The vegan chocolate chip cookies were fantastic! Very reminiscent of nabisco soft batch. Tender but not cakey with that perfect level of baking soda punch....

From the menu they make the falafel wrap look different from the pita wrap. I had placed my order online where under falafel wrap it says you can make it a "gyro" by subbing for pita instead . I called to confirm and let her know i wanted the pita wrap instead. Upon arrival they made my sandwich with the wrap which was irritating as I called and specifically asked for it to be done pita style. Not that big of a deal as mistakes happen.
I had tried the falafel which was incredibly dry, but the main issue was upon opening my order at home in which i ordered multiple items, there was a hair in my mac and cheese which is is not only incredibly unsanitary and unappetizing but also reflects the sanitary precautions this business takes which is incredibly low. To spend $60 dollars at this establishment for dinner and end up finishing nothing is an incredibly disappointing, but what's worse? Is how there is even less customer service to assist when things like this happen.
I called immediately after in which the manager I spoke to told me to send photos to customer service. Not only did I never receive a response, but after 2 days of calling and no one answering throughout the entire day I have been left without any help.
Do yourself a favor and steer clear specifically of this location update after 3 days of calling someone finally answered in which i was told that they issued me a refund solely for the mac and cheese, when in reality essentially none of my order was eaten after the disgust of seeing someone else's hair in my food. I understand things happen, but not issuing the proper response time in customer service is next level for a chain establishment. Bad tasting food , unhygienic food practices & worse...
