ordered the golden beet salad & the general chao's cauliflower. the beet salad came out with no beets! had to let the server know...she came back with a tiny metal cup of diced golden beets. the plate was a huge mound of spring mix with 3 small fried goat cheese pieces. basically you are paying $14 for a plate of spring mix! very disappointed! we asked if we could have more beets since this was a beet salad & the server came back with another tiny cup of diced beets. we needed more dressing...only 1 small cup was included. we asked for 3 more cups of dressing & were charged $1.00 on our bill for the extra 2 cups of dressing. not enough beets or goat cheese...just tons of spring mix made this a very disappointing entree! the vinaigrette dressing was tasty, though...too bad there wasn't anything else besides spring mix to put it on!

our cauliflower dish was also a disaster. 3 pieces of very mushy cauliflower surrounded by lots of mushy jasmine rice with some orange sauce over everything. very disappointed in the texture of the cauliflower...must have been previously cooked/fried & then reheated for this order. everything about this dish was horrible. this dish was $13.50.

we got our bil which was over $27 & both my dining companion & i were very unhappy & still hungry! we were so hoping for some good vegetarian food for lunch! both dishes clearly had good intentions but the execution was not well thought-out...who wants to pay $14 for a heaping portion of basically spring mix? and who wants to pay $13.50 for a plate of mushy gooey cauliflower...

I used to absolutely love this place. My favorite thing to get was the charred pineapple BLT and swap the bacon out for shrimp. It was the best ever! But I haven't been there in awhile. When I recently went I ordered that sandwich and was surprised by the presentation because it used to be a long bigger and now the bread is very small compared to what I used to get as well as how many chips. It also didn't have the same taste either. The food isn't brought out on plates anymore. They bring it out in plastic red baskets. The drinks aren't brought in the Mason jars anymore, just plastic cups. Even the water is brought out in plastic cups. It was kind of disappointing for me because it used to be one of my favorite restaurants because of certain things and there seems to have been a very extreme cut on certain expenses. The space is also a lot smaller than it used to be. The service wasn't what I'm used to. It just felt like staff was trying to rush my friend and me. They even brought us the check shortly after we recieved our food and...

The food was excellent , but I got take out, ordered soup, salad and chicken salad wrap. I got home and opened the bag , the salad was missing, I called them about it, explained was put on hold, come back on and questioned me again, then was put on hold again, girl come back and said the salad was in the bag, I said it wasnt, she put me on hold again, and a man come on I explained it to him and he said his people put it in the bag, he was rude, said if I really wanted it come in, but it was in bag. I told him never mind I will not come back there again. I wont go there again as I feel I wasnt treated right and it was implied that I was lying. I am 66 years old and do not lie .I would never have called if the salad...
