Russo's Pizza — Restaurant in Northfield

My wife and I were in the area and made the right decision to try Russo's. Although the place was empty on this particular (July 16, 2021) Friday night, the vibe was down home so we hankered down for a pie.

We ordered a large deluxe pizza. She had a pepsi, I had a Peroni.

The pizza arrived in what seemed like lightning fast speed. (in reality, it was probably 17 minutes after our order was placed).

There's New York pizza, there's Chicago pizza, there's Roman (ROME/Florence) pizza, and then there's OHIO pizza.

This was Ohio pizza at its best.

Toppings were fresh and flavorful. The pepperoni was especially good. The crust was dancing on the edge of thin and thick, but perfectly balanced and extremely tasty.

Our server was very personable and professional and the decor was CLASSIC 1970's.

Wow! We didn't get pics because it was SO delicious!

Now, I first and FOREMOST rate 98% on TASTE. OK? This place has an "old fashioned" taste to their dough, toppings and sauce! Which we found very tasty. Not bland, not overly seasoned. Perfect. The ONLY complaint I have on taste is that I like a greasy pizza and it wasn't greasy, BUT that's hard to find because stupid people don't want greasy pizza. Thanks public.....

The mozzarella sticks were good, but not the best I've ever had.

The meatball sub was really good! Could've used more sauce on the top. It was more on the bottom. But the bun was out of this world! The dough was also really tasty on pizza and calzone.

I was in the area 4 the weekend & decided 2 try there pizza & wings , I didn’t get them till late , but the pizza was very good , kinda cold not gonna lie . The wings was kinda cold as well , but they was delicious 🤤 I had the garlic Parmesan wing & The garlic wing they were actually delicious . It’s nice cuz u Order only 1 Wings of each if u want 2 , It’s not like other places , u have 2 Order @ least 6 Or whatever . I would definitely order the wings again & The pizza hopefully next time it could be a little hotter .
