We picked up food to take home and eat just for safety, mainly because we didnt know when the weather would turn. We'll definitely be back to eat inside and post more pics. We ordered the chicken tikka masala, chicken curry, cheese burger with onion rings, naan, and roti. There are many items kn the menu that caught our eye but we wanted to see these first to get an idea on the food. Tried everything individually and it was all good. The burger was just ok in my opinion; not the greatest burger but not a bad burger either. We were very pleased with the tikka masala and the curry though. When my fiance mentioned a burger and curry joint, I had pictured burgers with curry and I had it set in my mind that I would be trying this combination. I dipped the burger and onion rings into the curry sauce and it was sooo good. I highly recommend trying this combination. The curry is great by itself but the burger could use a little more seasoning, hence it becoming great by dipping it in curry sauce. When it comes to the plain naan and roti, recommend going with the roti. The roti has much more flavor with the whole wheat than the naan. Again, we will definitely be going back to eat inside eventually. Our interaction with the staff was also pleasant and learned more about their restaurant.
Update, revisit Mar 13
We dined in this time for dinner. Ordered a burger, chicken korma, tandoori chicken wings, rasmalai for dessert, and the masala chai. Highly recommend the tandoori chicken wings, those were great. Again, we dipped the burger into the curry and ate it like that. Still can't suggest that anymore than previously mentioned. The masala chai was only ok. It was more fragrant than flavorful. The rasmalai were a nice sweetness with rose water to finish the meal. So far the knly con of dining in is the lack of decor. It is concrete flooring with bare walls aside from some neon signs. This makes the area echoey and loud. We still really like the food though and will obviously...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy sister and I stopped by while travelling through the area. We wanted to check out the place because we were craving Indian food and it has good reviews. When we got in, we were nicely greeted at the door and seated. We asked about a special we saw on Google for "buy an entree, get an appetizer 50% off". The lady who seated us (I believe she may have been the owner?) said they don't have that special right now but she would honor it for us! That was very nice of her and we told her it wasn't necessary if they didn't have it right now but she insisted. We got the Chicken 65 and Special Biryani with the crispy chicken to share between us two (mild for both). The Chicken 65 was appropriately sized for an appetizer and was different from what I've had before (tasted more tomato-based) but certainly very tasty! I really enjoyed the mustard seeds (?) in it! The Special Biryani with crispy chicken was also very tasty and was served in a little pot, which made it seem authentic to me! The portion size was standard to other places I've had as well (large, to me, but I have a small appetite, and my sister and I could share comfortably with extra food left over). While we were eating, the lady came over and chatted with us some, and then brought us some complimentary chai! We were very touched. Overall, we definitely plan to stop by again if we travel through the area again!
Atmosphere: good atmosphere and I liked the interior decor like the spice diagram on the wall! Fun: not sure if this little game is used to see who settles the check (lol) but there was a simple two-person ring-on-a-string game (I don't know what else to call it) at the table that kept my sister and I entertained while waiting for our food. I wish I took a picture! Parking: easy to park, a little harder to get back on the highway because it's...
