One night stay before the Armed Forces Bowl. Selected this hotel based on the Hilton Brand and the price (approx $136 including tax). We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel is conveniently located off the freeway but far enough where you hear no road noise. Plus the Tanger Outlets, Buc-ee's and several restaurants are within 5-10 min drive. Love how the lobby was fully decorated for Christmas. Just an enjoyment to see after our road trip. The staff were all super friendly and professional. Greeted everyone with a warm smile. Rooms were a decent size but clean and comfortable. The bonus thing for me is that through my entire stay never heard our neighbors or individuals out in the hallway. Appreciate the signage throughout reminding guests of quiet hours. Amenities were sufficient for our stay. Used the small cardio room, but it was enough to get a good workout in. Continental breakfast was your typical breakfast setup but it was satisfying. The pancake machine was unique and this is first hotel I have ever been to that had this. Again highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting the area or just passing through. It exceeds the high quality standards that Hilton Brand strives for.

This place is a fun, trendy, clean and welcoming home-away-from-home. Between the colorful decor and great space for remote working in the lobby, to the comfy bed, we really enjoyed our stay here. Margarita was so kind at the breakfast area in the morning, making sure I had what I needed. Valerie at the front desk and I chatted a lot in the evening, as people came downstairs to play pool. And I must say, the best thing I saw was actually a staff meeting mid-morning. I was working in one of the sound booth near the door and heard loud cheering across the foyer. Looking up, I saw all of the staff huddled together watching a monitor where a Zoom call was going on. It looked like many different hotels were online and all cheering when they were announced. After that, I saw the hotel team celebrate birthdays. Hats off to the General Manager. As a leadership training consultant, I admired how he has made a great environment for his team to happy and how it made a difference for me as a guest. I am happy to come back and support the great stuff they have going on there!

VEGAN FRIENDLY Breakfast items. Almond milk.. fresh fruit.. almond and walnuts pieces.. Margerita(spell check) The breakfast attendant is amazing. Her spread and attentive attitude is above excellent. She is definitely in the right position to represent the brand. Jordan is such a pleasant professional Guest Service provider. My car accident has caused me grief and having an easy check in to attend appointments is always needed. Plus she made sure to offer assistance if needed. Justyn is the Manager and he is very guest friendly. He clearly enjoys his job and takes pride in his staff hired to represent his location. AMAZING LOCATION.. I am very picky so you definitely will like it if I did. Lol

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Tru Northlake, and I can't say enough good things about my experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt like a valued guest, and the level of hospitality I received was truly exceptional.

The warm welcome I received at the front desk [Jordan and Valerie] set the tone for my entire stay. The staff, led by Justyn [the GM] went above and beyond to ensure that I had a comfortable and enjoyable visit. In fact, Justyn even personally delivered breakfast to my door one morning, which was an unexpected and delightful surprise.

Speaking of breakfast, I must give a special shoutout to Margarita who prepared the most delicious omelet. I enjoyed the conversation we shared; it was clear that she takes great pride in her work.

What really stood out to me during my stay was the sense of camaraderie among the staff. I had the pleasure of joining the team for lunch one day and enjoyed wonderful conversations with Jordan and Catherine. They are a tight-knit group who genuinely care about their guests' experiences.

The housekeeping staff, notably Arjun, Donna, Juan, and Crystal also deserves recognition for their warmth and welcoming attitude. Every encounter with them was met with a smile, and they made sure my room was always spotless and inviting.

Overall, my stay at Tru Northlake was nothing short of amazing. The exceptional hospitality, friendly staff, and the genuine care they showed for their guests made it a truly memorable experience. I can't wait to return to this wonderful hotel and experience their warm welcome once again. Thank you, Tru Northlake, for making my stay...

The pillows were comfy. The room was clean. Microwaves are available on request total downer. The fridge made an annoying high pitch sound. the rooms are stocked with “radio not soap” or something dispensers. Good shampoo and conditioner. The body wash and lotion are good as well.

But let me shout out the staff. First, my mom and I checked in at around 8pm. Jordan was superb with customer service. I’m in the area looking for homes she was very informative. Stayed a second night and right before her shift was over she was able to help me with some toiletries that were needed, saved me a trip to a convenience store. I know it sounds insignificant, but she really came through. Just wonderful. Next is Margarita. My goodness she was incredibly helpful, also her breakfast duties were on point. She did not hesitate to go above and beyond. Lastly I want to brag on April. Two reasons. She and margarita again shared very helpful Insights on the DFW area for relocating. Second bragging point, I had originally booked one night but due to a migraine I was forced to book again at noon (after checking out) so I returned. April immediately realized the agony of a migraine and turned the lights off at the desk while processing my check in. She spoke quietly and got me in a room quick. I was so grateful. Rooms are clean, stocked and trendy decor, like a modern dorm room. But they’re great especially if you’re running around all day and just need the rooms minimally. I’d stay here just because of the staff. These ladies made a huge...

I’ve stayed here twice, and both times were amazing. To focus on my most recent stay: my dog and I had been in the car for 12 hours after the Thanksgiving weekend. We were both grouchy from being in the car all day. Jordan checked me in, greeted us with dog treats, asked if I needed a water dish, and was so kind and accommodating. Later on in the evening, I asked if I could play with my dog in the lobby so I wasn’t bothering people with noises in adjacent rooms. No one was in the lobby, and Jordan kindly said yes (she even played with my dog).

The next morning, I brought my dog down and asked if we could play so I could try to tire him out a bit before we got back in the car (this was at about 5:30am). Xavier didn’t even hesitate to say yes and offered us some more dog treats.

As I was getting ready to leave, Xavier asked me if I was going to get breakfast. I told him no—I wanted to head out before traffic got bad. Both he and Margarita kindly insisted that I take some food to-go, and Margarita brought out some to-go containers for me. They were very sweet to make sure I had something.

This place is the dog friendliest hotel I’ve ever stayed at, and every employee I interacted with went above and beyond for us. The location is perfect—tons to eat around there, easy on/off the highway, lots of fueling choices, etc. extremely reasonable price for a comfortable room and exceptional staff. Would absolutely keep...
