We tried multiple times to visit Grace Donut in Northlake, TX, and today we finally succeeded. Since it was almost noon, they only had two gluten-free donut flavors left: gluten-free and dairy-free glazed, and cinnamon glazed. We tried both, and they tasted amazing. The lady even gave us two free donut holes, which was a nice bonus. I can't wait to go back and try the gluten-free sausage roll/pig in a blanket. This donut place is small, like many other donut shops owned by Asian immigrants, but it stands out by serving gluten-free and dairy-free donuts. Read moreGluten free donuts exist but they are most often cake donuts (which, of course, is fine). It is rare to be able to find real, fried donuts that are gluten free. And gluten free kolaches are equally rare.
We ordered the day before and they texted us the morning our order was ready (before the original pick up time). We had a bit of a drive from our hotel but the donuts AND kolaches were well worth it.
They did have a separate merchandiser with gluten free donuts available though one customer could have easily bought it out. So order ahead.
