When they make the food properly it is good. But the people who work here are extremely rude for no reason and frequently mess up orders. A couple of days ago my sister and I came up there and ordered some food and they gave us the wrong thing. The line was really long so my sister just went inside and asked for it to be fixed instead of us going through the drive through again. When she went in there they were extremely rude to her and acted like she was lying when about our order being wrong or that she was trying to get free food. The cashier even looked her up and down and said “if you’ve taken a bite out of it we can’t take it back”. My sister had the receipt and we hadn’t touched the food at all besides to check it. All we wanted was for them to take the wrong food back and give us what we ordered. Then the lady in the back who took our order started yelling and cussing saying that it was our fault and just insulting my sister. The whole crew was also apparently making a point to give her dirty looks the whole time she was in there too. The way they acted was uncalled for especially since my sister treated them with respect and even apologized to THEM for the inconvenience even though they were the ones who messed up our order. Btw we are not “Karen’s” since we both have worked in fast food/retail we know how hard it can be so we are usually very understanding and we try not to be a bother or ask for too much. Even though she treated them with more respect than they deserved they were extremely rude because they were lazy and didn’t feel like doing their jobs right. While this was the worst experience we had, they still frequently mess up orders and then get an attitude if you (respectfully!!) ask them to fix it. So yeah don’t go to taco casa unless you want them to mess up your order and then be...
Read moreI finally got around to trying this after word of mouth and reading articles about how its a "staple" of Tuscaloosa. I'm sorry but if you really think this garbage is a staple then you clearly have either never had it or have poor taste in Tex-mex.
I stopped in for lunch today on the way out of town and this has got to be the WORST tex-mex food I have ever had, and trust me, I've had really bad tex mex in my life.
I ordered a few different things to try, a taco, a burrito, rice and beans, and queso nachos. Out of everything, the taco was probably the most edible. Everything else tasted like the fast food equivalent of something being made to pass off as tex mex by your weird uncle that can't cook. Either that or being the "food at home" part of those "theres food at home" memes.
Seriously, don't eat here. The food is gross and overpriced. Also the restaurant looks like its where the 80's and 90's crawled up and died, which should be a red flag for a...
Read moreDo yourself a favor, and keep on driving by the Northport location in front of Tractor Supply and Big Lots. Chicken Sancho was refrigerator cold and I mean completely cold. Shorted on other food, but what we received was warm, at least. To the owner(s), be involved with your business!!!!!!!!!!!! It starts at the top. Wasted our hard earned money. If I could rate below zero, I would. Don't worry about reaching out. We're not coming back. Take your advertising money that you promote your business with on the radio and invest it in the management!! and your employees!!! for a better food experience for the customers!!!!!! Absolutely horrible. We've been eating here since this location opened and it's downhill. Once or twice I can understand, but...!!! Owner(s) take some training classes from Chick-fil- A on how a business should operate and not what customers should have to...
