We just had the pleasure of eating at Il Giardino. I called The owner, Lilo and was able to book their dining room for our family after we had the services for our Mother. He was so caring and patient with our every need. We ran late at the cemetery and when I called him very stressed out he immediately put us at ease and said “take your time…the room is ready for you whenever you get here”. We were warmly greeted when we arrived and shortly after all the delicious appetizers started coming out. Hot and amazing…we couldn’t get over the amount of food and the quality was top notch. Every time you turned around someone was refilling your coffee, water or asking if you needed anything else. We then had penne vodka and many of us said it was the best we’ve ever had. A fresh salad followed and then the entrees started coming out. My brother in laws and I all love to cook and we were all loving every bite. This was the perfect place for our family and we sincerely appreciate being treated like celebrities for the day. We had some of the best Italian food and received the most impeccable service we’ve ever experienced thanks to Lilo and his wonderful team! We already said this will be an annual event in our Mom’s memory and will be back every week for dinner. Thank you so much for such an amazing experience on such a...
Read moreWOW! With the new ownership this has become the best Italian restaurant for miles around. Start with a loaf of the best bread warm, crisp and soft in the center. Add a salad that is included with the meal then select from an incredible array of simply wonderful and decadent entrees that are really inexpensive. i love the fresh fish dishes from the Wild Caught Salmon at $19.50 to the fresh Bronzini picked up that morning in the city - $22.00. My husband loves the chicken dishes where the sauces are mouth-watering and taste as good as any he has ever had. His favorite is the Tuscany Chicken - $16.50 that is grilled chicken breast with mozzarella and tomato in a superb butter and cheese sauce. Finish with one of their excellent deserts and then when the owner brings you his surprise "Holy Water" at the end of the meal you will know what an Italian feast is supposed to be. All for less than $30 with tax and tip. WOW. Do not wait to try this place because once the word gets out you will have to wait in...
Read moreFive Star ratings across the board may surprise some when a first-timer takes a look at Il Giardino Restaurant... It's a simple setting... more like eating at a friend's home. And this is exactly what makes it great! It's all about the food... the food is fantastic, with a broad variety of standard dishes and surprisingly lengthy list of nightly, and unusual, specials. The service is more about being warm and personal rather than coolly professional. There is a charm at Il Giardino in both its sincere simplicity and welcoming atmosphere. We just had a family birthday dinner there last week and I'm already looking forward to coming back! Two thumbs...
