Amato Bread — Restaurant in Northvale

I love their bread but I had a very disappointing experience with them today and I will not go back to buy bread from them ever. I used to be able to purchase their bread at my local store first for $2.99 then they raised the price to $3.49. They decided to consolidate their routes around here and can't get their bread close by anymore. I took a 20 mile ride to get it from their store where they sell the same bread for $4.50. I was going to ride there once every week or every other week to purchase 10-12 of their bread at a time and asked if they would give me a better price. She told me that there are people who come further than I am and that she can not give the bread any cheaper. She dissed my request in a very unprofessional manner. Best Bread, Mozzarella, Chicken Cutlets, Eggplant cutlets and Grilled Chicken Cutlets in ALL OF BERGEN COUNTY!!!!!!! I swear they deserve 1st place in all of the above listed items. I never bought cutlets, I always made them myself but not anymore.
