Cafe Trois Northvale is a quiet powerhouse of flavor and charm.
This spot nails the balance between cozy and elevated. The moment you walk in, it feels like a breath of fresh air — warm lighting, clean design, and a pastry case that whispers your name. The staff? Thoughtful, quick, and genuinely kind. You’re never rushed, and somehow they always make time for a smile.
Now the food. Their Croque Madame is a must — rich, melty, and perfectly crisped. The Crème Brûlée donut? Still iconic. And the seasonal specials? Always worth trying. Whether it’s a matcha cream puff or a savory tart, everything feels curated, not just made.
Coffee lovers, rejoice. Their espresso drinks are smooth and strong, and the einspänner is a standout. Bonus: they don’t skimp on quality or creativity.
Cafe Trois Northvale isn’t just a café — it’s a local favorite that delivers on taste, atmosphere, and that little spark of joy you didn’t know you needed. Whether you’re brunching, catching up, or just treating yourself, this place makes it...
Read moreSo I felt compelled to post a review and I never do… going on about 2 years I live up the road from this place. Food is amazing, however the service and principles of business in this cafe I’m seriously not happy with and makes me not want to come anymore. Every time you as them for any sour cream/ mayo/ even a cup of water they make you pay for everything. Today we asked for a cup of water and the person working the counter said well you can buy a bottle. The food is pricy but good but when your spending $50 dollars on breakfast you would think that there would be better customer service and they wouldn’t be trying to take advantages of their customers over charging for mayo/ sour cream and making them buy water bottles rather green give them a cup of tap for free. As I said this has been an ongoing theme in this place and makes me not want to come here anymore after consistently coming every weekend for the past...
Read moreThis is one of my favorite places to eat, and I come here multiple times a week. The food is delicious, the pastries and cakes are unmatched, the prices are seriously excellent for what they serve. But I must say the staff is really what keeps me coming back. Lexie the manager is always so sweet and kind, but she is also super efficient and runs a tight ship. Everyone just does such a great job of making you feel welcome but they still manage to get your order out quickly. I’ve recommended this place to many people, who become regulars too, so I would say it’s my favorite spot to go to for breakfast, brunch, or just a quick Chai. Luke also is a standout for great service and always has a really...
