Roi Et food quality is 3 out of 5 for taste. Their prices are extremely high for what you are getting, though. Roi Et charges for pop refills, which I haven't experienced anywhere since the 90's. Our waitress literally took 30 minutes to come over and take our drink order. They were not busy. Also, our waitress only had 3 other tables. 20 minutes later, she returned for our food order. The ladies sitting at the table next to us said they had been waiting since we ordered our drinks for a box and a bill. Our food arrived 25 minutes later. Food portions were fair. The quality of the ingredients themselves lacked. I felt like the menu was more of a Chinese variety than a new Thai restaurant that we were excited to try. My bill for 2 adults & 2 kids was $120. I don't plan on returning anytime soon. If you do go, the General Tso's and Chicken Satay were the best dish out of the ones we tried. The curry was very bland. The homemade soups complete disappointment. Had little broth, lacked seasoning tons of flavorless spaghetti style noodles. Not really kids friendly because they have no kids menu. So you end up ordering adult meals for the kids. In my opinion, go to Ming Moon and save a...
Read moreThis is a brand new restaurant and they have to work out the kinks. Hopefully I can give a better review in the future. The atmosphere is very welcoming and clean. Service is unbelievingly slow. I got there at 6:15 and left at 7:44. We waited about 15 minutes for the check after asking for it. They did not have fountain drinks so they are doing warm cans of pop with ice. They also bring water to the table in a glass and a glass jug. After 20 minutes and us asking, a jug of water was brought over to our table. Food took about 45 minutes. We ordered simple. My husband ordered sweet and sour chicken and I ordered the general TSO chicken. My general TSO was very very sweet. I have never had it like that before and his sweet and sour was spicier than my general TSO. The food was okay but affordable. We also got a spring roll( sorry no picture), it was on the small side but good with the chilli sauce they provided. won’t be back for a while maybe the winter...
Read moreCame across this little gem that just popped up in Oregon ohio. I've been craving some good Thai food that I found in Chicago and this time I found a place that really comes there very very close. If I remember right this is the same place that used to run Bangkok kitchen in Northwood ohio. So in the first picture that looks like a soup it is an amazing Tom yum with seafood that had squid and shrimp. The second picture their version of pad thai. The only thing that was missing was a little bit of spice oh no very delicious. Fair warning that just opened up, may take a couple weeks to work out all the kinks but all in...
