Penn Station East Coast Subs — Restaurant in Northwoods

The manager/owner (in appearance) was extremely rude and had no customer satisfaction expectations and even refused to part ways with a small cup of steak spice. He replied with “we only have salt and pepper” I then replied well what about mayonnaise packets because I can’t even add that to my sandwich on my order via doordash (which could be DoorDash’s fault, but the owner/mangers ultimately for not ensuring their partners are representing their business in a manner appealing and accurate to the actual business model) at which point it was too late because he just turned around and walked away after denying he has steak spice. So I had to wait and then approach him a second time to ask for mayonnaise where he complied. But if you are going to make blanket statements like “all we have are salt and pepper” but still offer other seasonings/dressings and lie to the customer about it? It honestly feels like this business specifically targets doordash orders to ignore or be rude to because they’re potentially having to do more work for less profits. This hurts to see humans act this way and I highly encourage other people to avoid this store and let another business get a chance at this...

Went here with my cousin last night around 8 something the 3 boys inside was cleaning up as my cousin entered the building and went straight back to the restroom before ordering I wasn't outside for not even a minute when this tall black man with big eyes and a black cap approached my car trying to get in he said sorry stating it was a mistake he thought I was his cousin coming to get him but I'm on the passenger side I immediately scream at the man to get away from the car he goes into the pen station and the employees busted out laughing like what he did was funny I think the Man worked there he came back out walked down to the corner by the Walgreens then came back and waited at the title max I thought he was gone til I seen his face in the refection of the titles max widow he was hiding in between the columns it's not funny to try to scare your customers that man would of been as good as dead over a bad joke cause...

I visited the North Oaks Location in St. Louis, MO Wednesday November 1 around 8 pm. The store was busy with only 2 employees, a male line cook and a female order taker/cashier working. The female was assisting also with wrapping orders and cooking french fries. The female came out into the store and rolled up a carpet runner that was located in front of the fountain drinks. While she was doing this the line cook requested her assistance and she proceeded to assist him until I suggested she wash her hands first. Once we got home we were disappointed to find that our fries were extremely old and cold, our sandwiches were not made to order and contained almost no meat or cheese. We had waited 25 minutes for the unacceptable meal and were too tired to go back to the store. The Area manager promised my daughter compensation, but never followed up! Employees reflect Management!
