You could communicate with them about your account and do your best to keep your account in good standing and they would blow your phone up as if you don’t pay. They used to people running off on them and not answering the phone for them when they call. They’ll send people to your door to use that as a scare tactic to get you to pay. They try to threaten you with late fees. They’ll pull the stunt corporate is making me do this. They will run away a good customer in a heartbeat. I received two phone calls in one day from two different people in the same day they sent a store representative to my house. The next day I received another phone call after speaking to a different store representative a day prior about when I’ll pay my account. You can call them and communicate when you’ll be paying on your account and they’ll put it in the system to a day that you don’t have to agree with. If you don’t pay attention to the stuff they do you’ll be out of a lot of money. I had to make multiple attempts to get my account corrected and they finally just got that correct. They also don’t know how to talk to people when they call you on the phone. You don’t have to harass people who make a way to communicate and pay their accounts. I’ve had my account since 2021 and I look forward to closing my account next month. Only good person in the store is Ken (manager) Ken always is professional. Keith and Wendell are also professional. You will be better off just buying furniture outright and not paying the high interest rates. Read moreI would give zero stars if I could. I started a rental agreement with Rent One on North Oaks Plaza on June 15 to rent a washer and dryer. They delivered a broken washer that sat in my home, completely unusable, until July 1—more than two weeks later—before they finally replaced it.
Despite this, on July 15, they had the audacity to charge my card the full rental price as if I had been using a working machine the entire time. When I called the next morning to request a refund, I was given the complete runaround by both the salesman Keith and the store manager Lamont. No accountability, no urgency, and no solution.
It’s unacceptable to charge customers for broken equipment and then avoid responsibility. I will never do business with this company again and will be filing a formal complaint with corporate. Be cautious if you’re thinking about renting from this location—they do not stand behind their service...
