New Alfredo's — Restaurant in Norton

I would not say this is the worst place I’ve ever eaten in my life but as an X restaurant owner, I was very displeased with this being an Italian or Greek restaurant and the noodles on every meal we ordered was overcooked all the children love the pizza. I myself order chicken wings that were way overcooked the mushrooms seem like they were canned mushrooms. We complain to the waiter, which I must say did a great job for handling a table of 13 he did the best he could, and he was the only one doing any of the waiter or waitressing we did complain to him and nothing he did except ask me how his service was we had to pay full price for a meal that clearly we did not enjoy cause most of it was left on the table. Our first impression upon entering, clean nicely decorated atmosphere. The hostess was sweet and very friendly. Our appetizers were the fried pickles and Egyptian bread and humus. They were wonderful. We ordered the Egyptian fish dish, the lasagna and the Mediterranean pasta dish with Egyptian salad and garlic bread. The first bite transported us to a different Country. The passion Chef Ali expels in his cooking is an absolute delight. He is a very friendly, Caring chef that wants you to honestly enjoy every bite and we did!! The deserts we had were the Baklava, Tiramisu, and cannoli's. We tasted a bite of Heaven in every fork full. This meal gets 10 out of a 10! Best hidden gem in Virginia. We stopped here while visiting family in Norton, VA yesterday. The food, service and atmosphere were very clean and welcoming. We had a chicken gyro and a calzone supreme, along w inflated Egyptian bread that the sweet waitress recommended. We were so delighted to find a restaurant so close to my cousin’s house and the service was fast and friendly. However, the owner needs to find a reputable exterminator; as I was handing the waitress my card to pay, unfortunately a small roach crawled across the register counter, ruining our experience.
