Sweet Henrie's Restaurant and ice cream parlor — Restaurant in Norton

Nothing special. Very basic food. Service lacking. Even the water tastes weird? There were some customers inside, so I know people are surviving the food. Food looked sloppy. Even breakfast food looked low quality, how do you make eggs and hashbrown look like prison food that is a special skill I give the cooks props. When plates come out, if you ordered at least 1 egg, the entire plate is covered in grill oil/grease/margarine. Or random bits of grill debris that have been accumulated since ww2 will be on your plate. Just know you aren't eating for quality. This is pure sustenance

Service was lacking. Random seating with no server accountability. Everything is dirty inside/sticky/smelly. Abnormal wait time for everything except your bill. Food came out in a fair amount of time. Im Guessing the wait staff just shows up, does minimal work and then leaves, Cause it definitly shows.

Some random piano inside with a note to not touch it. Was this an old antique store before? Please remove items from previous business before opening your doors. Weird. Prices would seem ok, but it's too expensive for the level of food quality and cleanliness that is displayed.

First off.. I’ve always had great service and good food at Sweet Henrie’s. Went there this morning for our grandsons 1st birthday breakfast. It’s seat yourself but we had 6 adults & 2 children so I asked the server (Sammie) and she says this table here is about to leave bout 10-15 minutes.. I said ok we’ll be waiting right out front .. she says that’s fine. Bout 20 minutes went by .. I go inside and a new group of people are sitting at the table she told me she was saving for us!! She wouldn’t acknowledge me for over 5 minutes .. I finally go to her and say “did you forget you were saving that table for us?” And she throws her hands up as if I’m attacking her and says “Look!! It’s first come first serve sweetie !!” I said ..”I told you we we’re waiting out front and you said that’s fine””.. you’d let me know” LOL! Typical Millennials.. don’t take accountability and apologize that you messed up. I would’ve said that’s fine .. Nooo instead turn it on me because you didn’t do your job!! Learn how to admit when you did wrong and apologize for...

Was there on a Friday at 4:00, wasn’t crowded at all. Service was very quick & we told her it was our first time there so she explained some of their most popular dishes. My wife is on a strict diet and she wanted some tuna salad on a bed of salad which was very good. The waitress explained that the chicken salad was very good too. I had the all you can eat fish, cod I believe, which was very tasty. It came with a cup of soup and two sides. They made sure my drink was refilled. The waitress even brought us a strawberry crepe which I ate because of my wife’s diet, which was very good. They serve breakfast and lunch as well. Usually open till 8:00 but close at 1:00 on weekends. A player piano along the wall which adds to the atmosphere. Overall the food & service were very good and we will definitely be back for more. They serve ice cream and desserts as well. I recommend Sweet...
