To say this was one of the most disappointing events I ever had is an understatement. I do events all the time. We had a family event here in 2017 where my niece and now nephew got engaged. thus the reason I chose this place for my son's graduation with his masters degree. BIG MISTAKE. I do not normally write reviews if I have a bad experience because I believe everyone has a off day but so many things happened I felt the NEED to write this. 1. it was extremely cold in there. my entire family was cold..there were 14 of us. we asked if they could either turn on heat or the hibachi and were ignored. 2. my brother came about 20 minutes late and was told he could not order. 3. we were given very little vegetables and rice (two eggs put into a mound of rice and still not enough for all of us (26.00 each). less than 1/2 cup. 4. we asked for sauce once we got the rice and vegetable and told we had to wait until the hibachi man gave it to us. 10 minutes later with cold rice and vegetable's we were still waiting. 5. my sister asked for a ginger ale and was given sprite. I had to go find the waitress to get the correct soda. 6. when the hibachi man finally finished our chicken and shrimp, I again asked for sauce. he said in a minute and then began cleaning the hibachi. by the time he gave it to us (5 more minutes) those who wanted the sauce were either finished eating the little bit of food given or their food (mine included) was ice cold. 7. to top it off we spent over $350.00 and all we got was so sorry you were disappointed along with a $54.00 gratuity added to the bill!! I have never been so embarrassed and disappointed. Thank God it was my family who knows what type of events I normally do!!! If it was a client I was meeting with there I would have been even more angry than I am now. I will NEVER recommend them again nor will I patronize them. Read moreWe decided to have dinner here on a rainy Saturday night. It started bad as soon as we hit the door. We were sat at a hibachi table with the grill. Great! Then we asked to move 3 times to accommodate guests 6 people who came in after us. Which is fine, but don't ask me to change seats 3 times. That's just to me doing a little too much. Second, waitress was kind, but too pushy. We literally just sat down finally after moving 3 times. And now you want to know if I'm ready to order appetizers and drinks.... I haven't even sat down yet! Third, the portions size for Hibachi dinner is very small. Mind you I have been to many Hibachi restaurants and you usually are so full you can't finish. It was like children portions of rice, veggies and steak. The final straw is this morning when we check our account. We were charged twice! Are you kidding me?? I will never eat here again! Too pushy, bad customer service and then you over charge me too. Disgusting! UPDATE! We went there today to follow up with the charges and the owner comment was as follows: "Hunni, it's ok its just pending, this happens all the time. In 3 days it will give you your money back." I'm sorry, but how do you think that this is ok? You can charge people 2 times and your response to me is " It's ok Hunni". If it doesn't come back then come back and I will give you the money. I complained about the food with the woman who was serving, because was very spicy, I didn’t order spicy, I can’t eat spicy! besides, chicken was so slobbery and thin. And so small portions… She changed the plate but still was very spicy and she was refusing me like if she was the one tasting the food and not her costumer. Of course I didn’t eat the food but she still charged. It was very rude and complete opposite about costumer service, (The pilar of a restaurant) she even didn’t apologize, when I talked to her respectfully, to take out that plate of the bill, and because we weren’t satisfied with the service, she just didn’t care at all and she said directly to our faces, she doesn’t care.
