China Moon — Restaurant in Norwalk

China Moon is a "New York Style" takeout restaurant that literally looks, feels, and tastes like it was lifted from NYC and placed in Norwalk. The outside and the inside don't look great, but the food is awesome. The restaurant even has those faded, backlit menu pics, a staple of NYC takeout restaurants.

Compared to other Chinese restaurants, China Moon is definitely on the cheaper side, but the food is "bussin" as the kids say. Order any othe classics like General Tso's, Sesame, Orange, etc and you will get the desired crispy outside and juicy inside. The soups are great too, and all the food is prepared quickly by the friendly staff. Keep in mind this is NOT your high end, gourmet style place, but if you are craving something quick, cheap and delicious, China Moon...

The food wasn't too bad, quite greasy but what can you expect from some quick meal. The thing that makes me give 2 stars however, is that the customer service is bad. The orders don't have numbers like in other places, so I told the lady the name it was under. In the end I had to physically point at what food I wanted and even then she kept trying to change my order. I wanted a specific meal and she kept trying to force me to accept having noodles on it. It took some back in forth for her to finnaly give up and just take my order. She was very snarky overall and it was annoying to say the least. The food was fine though so it doesn't deserve one...

Best Chinese Food Restaurant in Norwalk! This place is allergy friendly, honest, and fast! Their food is delicious, and they are very accommodating. They regularly deliver in less than 30 minutes. Finding a Chinese restaurant that is allergy friendly and safe is very difficult. China Moon is always happy to accommodate my food allergies.
